I usually come for their matcha ice cream but their desserts are incredibly good too, especially the matcha chocolate tart! It is their least sweet dessert on the menu and the texture was so smooth and delicious. During spring time they have seasonal limited edition cherry blossom themed foods as well, definitely worth a stop!
I am a matcha lover! I have been watching this place for a while because the store near to my school! I took a matcha milk with ice-cream on the top, and it is just perfect! I want to back again and try different kind of cake, and a bowl of soup. The coffee shop is clean, quite and looks nice!
This review is based on two visits. The first time I tried their Double Cheesecake & second, their O-Matcha Cake. The cheesecake is super rich, but not too sweet. While it's good, the O-Matcha cake was my absolute favourite: it was moist yet light at the same time. So delicious!
modern japanese dessert place where they focus on matcha. My friend and I both had a O-Matcha expresso at first I was like hey how come this cup is so light but it came into my mind, of course this is an expresso... It’s a little on the pricey side which was $5 for a little taste of Matcha expresso, but hey I saw how the girl was making my drink with so much care. “Every cup of Matcha is thoroughly whisked one cup at a time for you to enjoy” this is whats written on their wall, and they meant it. It was so freagin delicious that both my friend and I wanted to order more. The lady at the counter was so honest and told me to be careful because one cup of matcha expresso have high caffeine in it so she didnt suggest it it says one cup of matcha equals to 10 cups of greentea, which greentea is known for high caffeine so beware for those who can’t sleep at night! I also took the “Kinako Daiguku” a japanese mochi. Soft and creamy inside. It was literally melting inside my mouth. So good that I could have ordered more. My friend had the Yuzu cake. yikes. Is there better than this light fruity cake? Not too sweet, you could taste the flavour of Yuzu, yummy.. Seriously Japanese pastries never fails. I remember I visited some bakery shops in Japan. and Holy. They are good. anyhow if you are downtown, worth trying this place. I am totally going back.
Delicious matcha desserts. Fairly pricey but worth it. Really enjoyed the iced milk matcha slush with the extra ice cream. The ambiance is wonderful and the staff were all ready helpful. I’ve had the matcha soba here as well and it’s amazing!! If you like matcha you’re going to adore TSUJIRI.
Always an amazing experience at Tsujiri Montreal! They have the best matcha products in the city, from hot tea to cakes and cold drinks etc. Their hot food is worth a try too! A very cozy place to visit and the staff there are always polite and friendly. Thank you :Food: 5/5
I can’t believe I didn’t know this spot was in Montréal and I’m glad I walked past it while walking back to the hotel. I was craving some Asian dessert spot during my stay there and this nice Japanese dessert spot was just what I needed. I love how Japanese desserts aren’t always a sweet as western spots and who doesn’t love matcha?! I literally got everything matcha and everything was refreshing to the taste. Glad I found Tsujiri to save me from the humidity.
It was my first time trying this place and the cashier was really friendly. Matcha cake was soft and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was really good. I also had the yuzu glacé with Hojicha ice cream. I loved loved loved the ice cream. It was so addicting.
I had a nice time visiting this place! I ordered the hojicha with milk slush, and added the swirl of ice cream on too. Delicious, and I would love to try the other menus. The place was spacious, and well decorated for the season. The employee was very friendly with me!
Amazing experience. Limited options for a meal, but the ramen and poke bowls were delicious. Save room for desserts because that is the main attraction! Matcha flavours was amazing. Can't go wrong with any dessert choices!Food: 5/5
