A great place to stop by and have a nice warm chai and the portions and prices are very good. I was so delightfully surprised by how many pieces of chicken the butter chicken had so many Indian places skimp on the chicken or give very basic rice. Definitely going to come back and try more things on the menu

From the start to the end everything is splendid experience. Warm welcome to nice suggestions of food choice. Jaw dropping mango splash. Starter veg samosa to main course butter panner will make you to eat twice. Will go again.

After craving Indian food for more than a week, we were happy to try ChaïShaï in the middle of Downtown Montréal. We received wonderful service and recommendations from the employee! She told us we should try the Samosa Channa Chaat which was absolutely delicious. We also got the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Biryani. We could choose rice or naan garlic or butter as a side for the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Everything was flavourful, spicy and generous! The portions and prices are very fair around 55$ for everything we got and we couldn't finish it all! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and felt very cozy. We will definitely be trying ChaïShaï again

Great quality food. Taste and portion are very good. Each and every corner of this restaurant was designed delicately. A small painting on the wall or an artifact will bring back your memories of india or Pakistan. Real fusion of indo pak receipes. Must try if you are a desi student living in downtown. Will go again.

Well the staff here should receive 5/5 but the food was a little sketchy. The food was delicious but started feeling unpleasant after a while. Butter chicken had a lot of food color in it. I wouldn’t recommend that dish to anyone. The best part of our meal was aloo sliders. DO NOT EVEN TRY THE GULAB JAMUN CHEESECAKE. Looks good tastes terrible.

I love their street food dishes! I tasted a variety of meals such as chicken butter, samosa chana chaat & more. All of them were so delicious & had a lovely presentation.

I forgot to write a review, better late than never! I went there with my friend, two months ago and we really enjoyed it! We had to order our food at the counter. We took the Butter Chicken, Haryali Chicken Dahi Puri and Aloo Tikki Chaat. For the drinks we got the Karak Chai and the Pomegranate Blast. Let me tell you, we fell in love with their food!!! Our favorite dish is the Butter Chicken. The meat was so tender and it was well seasoned! I recommend it. Plus, their interior decor is very beautiful!
