They had a Gnome that I really wanted. It was already marked down but it was a little damaged and they gave me a better deal. I fixed up the gnome and he is good as new. I love it. Thanks for marking it down a little further for me when you didn't have to! You made a customer very happy
Probably the 5th time I have come here to try and purchase something when it clearly shows an item is in stock on there website ..but they don't have it in the store. frustrating!
Love Peavey Mart, my kind of store! Checked out many spots, then bird feed supplies, and also picked up some quality LED lights at a good price. Staff friendly and helpful. Will be back.
Went in with cyber one day sale, showed cashier website, did not trust me, had to double check, management has made store very consumer unfriendly, cashier also responded to 'why?', some customers are liars. Floor staff knew where the item was located and tried to find the correct item. Compared to other franchises, this store, Mt. Forest, would be my last resort, Walkerton or St. Jacobs would be my preferred choice. Only shop here when other stores are sold out, but staff needs to trust customers when they show the current ad. Respect is a two way street, and if the staff don't treat customers with respect, the customer will find another outlet.
I used to shop at this particular spot all the time, but lately it has gone to the dumps. This has got to be one of the most unorganized stores I have ever been to, a bunch of workers walking around twiddling their thumbs but don't want to take the time to ask if you need any help, maybe post their phone numbers upon entering so I can use text to communicate as that seems bo be the way now a days. I saw two workers unpacking one small 2 ft by 2 ft box and placing it in the centre row, must have been some kind of a sale, while everything else on all shelves are in complete disarray. I went in a couple of weeks ago for some welding supplies which of course they didn't have and were not organized. I decided I'd check online just today, there was probably 10 to 15 different items I was looking for, none of which we're in store hardly any of them were available even online...Peavey Mart..please take control of your stores, I understand help is hard to come by, but I can tell you this...no customer service is better than bad customer service. This is why the consumer me will shop online going forward.

Wide variety of outdoor equipment great selection. While shopping I did not have a hard time finding what I need but feel as if some parts of the store were rather cramped. During my visit it was fairly busy which could definitely affect your experience differently. The staff is very helpful and is willing to help you find what you are looking for as quickly and as close to your needs as possible. Great place will definitely visit again.
This is the home town hardware shop. I only go elsewhere why they dont have what i need. They were the most reasonable with enforcing the lockdown bs and would help you get those non essentials instead of making you jump through hoops they would jump though the hoops for you.
Pricing is okay, availability lately is hit and miss. The biggest issue I have is with their covid limits. Limits are totally reasonable, but when you install a wait and notify process, you need to have some actually managing it. The last few times I came by, no one was there to handle the doorbell, so folks just walked in. I waited, and the cashier finally came in and told me to keep waiting. Inconsistent support, I'll probably go to a different location next time.
