My favorite post workout smoothie place. Staff are always nice and welcoming. My favorite smoothie is papaya and mango. Reasonable price for a fresh fruit smoothie. If available, you can have a choice of milk or Greek yogurt smoothie...yogurt gives it a tart taste but is heartier than milk. A huge selection of teas with or without bubbles and a large selection of desserts with both gluten free gluten filled cookies. Only wish the cookies were a little softer. Small amount of seating but open late. Perfect for a quick tea or treat post workout or post shift. Near the Micheal Garron Hospital.
I’m not a big fan of their bubble tea but I love their yema and mango cake. Halo halo was pretty decent too.
I'm by no means a bubble tea aficionado. To me, many of the good BBT spots in the city all taste more or less the same, so take my reviews with a grain of salt. What I do like about Tsaa is it's not just a tea shop. It offers all kinds of weird things case in point: it actually offers Filipino dishes like pancit, lumpia and bistek. My favourite non-BBT offerings are still drinks though. I like: - Sago't gulaman: This is a Filipino dessert which I guess could be the Filipino version of BBT if BBT was mostly "bubble" and the "tea" was syrup-infused shaved ice. I love how Tsaa's sago't gulaman is better than most out there because their sago/tapioca is really fresh. - Papaya Slush: I don't get why more places don't offer papaya drinks. It's super refreshing, has a unique taste, and isn't overly sweet. You can also add tapioca to it for a BBT feel. Tsaa is run by the friendliest people. The place is small only 3 tables but welcoming. Try it if you're in the area!
Date of visit: Dec 13, 2022 Tuesday night Quaint shop serving Filipino food, desserts, coffee and teas. Had the Ube Banana Funnel Cake with Ube Ice Cream and paid almost $20 for it, including taxes. NOTE: Filipino-owned
This was my first time coming here and I love it! I didn’t order much because I just wanted something cold to drink on a hot summer day. The staff is super friendly and felt like I was treated as family. I ordered a honeydew bubble tea with tapioca, and my sister-in-law ordered their Halo-Halo. As a Filipina myself, I’m not a fan of halo-halo lol. But, I tried their halo-halo and I actually like it. My sister-in-law absolutely loves it! As for my bubble tea, it was pretty good too! I love that it is slushy as well! There’s only 1 or 2 tables inside to sit but we sat outside since there were a bit more tables outsides than inside. The indoor decor is super cute with a display of different coloured tea pots. I definitely recommend this place if you are passing by through Greektown! And I definitely want to come back and maybe try their desserts and food! I will bring my husband next time because he is a HUGE halo-halo fan!
They have a wide selection of drinks and desserts. The staff are very nice and attentive and the service is quick. The place is kinda small but it's very cozy.
Definitely exceeded expectations. Drinks are even better than big chain bubble tea stores. Also tried their cassava cake and it was the best one I've had in years! Would definitely come here everyday if I could!
The female staff member who helped us today was super nice; she was explaining the different drinks and giving good suggestions! Very friendly. The drinks themselves tasted great - the mango & halo halo were very flavourful. On the expensive end, though. That’s the only caveat.
Their Halo Halo is pretty darn good! Topped with ube ice cream, leche flan and pinipig pounded/toasted rice flakes and filled with layers of the usual tasty ingredients. If mixed thoroughly, every bite will be deliciously different from the last! Can't wait to go back to try the rest of their treats!
yummy vegan options and huge selection. tsaa tea shop always has my back late night. the vegan menu is very extensive which is awesome. i got the strawberry bubble tea, coconut creamy cupcake and blueberry scone. all vegan. the tea was very good and fruity, and large size. the cupcake was insane and probably my favourite thing. the cake was soft and moist and the coconut frosting was so rich and flavourful. blueberry scone was decently delicious as well. .
