Although the decor has been updated, the overall feel is still old. Common areas don't feel clean Bathroom is very small. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Nice to have real glasses, microwave and fridge. There is no hotel info available in the room. (where is the fitness center, what are the hours of the pool, local restaurants in the area etc.) Used the in room food service several times. Staff was friendly. Food wasn't bad but the menu is odd. (supposed to be 2 soups daily but there never is. Several odd soup choices like polish cabbage or lamb stew. No truth in menu. House roasted turkey BLT was just regular turkey lunch meat, no chimicuri sauce with the steak, no tomato jam with the burger, no seasonal flavor of ice cream, Caesar dressing had no flavor, no local honey, golden raisins and almonds with the oatmeal Etc.) Seems like whenever there was supposed to be a unique ingredient it wasn't included.

Worst hotel ever! I left my very expensive clarisonic face brush in the hotel room. I had to call twice before I could get anyone to speak to me. Mind you i had only checked out of the hotel the day before.Then staff wants to say they don't see anything logged in the lost and found...yea okay. So basics the cleaning staff kept my property.. which makes them not only thieves, but gross as well. What would you do with something like that if it doesn't belong to you ?? Use it on your own face? Absolutely disgusted with this place.

The room and hotel was very cozy and comfortable overall. My only concern was involving a leak from the room above me which caused the ceiling to start falling down. Management did apologize however and I did get to switch rooms.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.Staff was friendly and helpful. However our room needed basic maintenance. The towel rack fell off in our hands, the mirror was attached to the wall barely. And the ceiling in our room had a large peeling portion of the paint and wallpaper was lifting off. Marriott can do better in their maintenance of the rooms.

Great hotel to stay at when visiting Bridgeport. I had no major issues during my week long stay. The indoor pool and hot tub was a nice addition. I did have dinner one evening at the onsite restaurant and the food was good but a tad on the expensive side. I had the burger which was delicious and a side of Mac and cheese which lacked flavor. My guest had fish tacos and the Brussel sprouts and enjoyed both. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
