Arrive early and bring cash!! The vendors for events only accept cash. We enjoyed the Monster Truck Throwdown 2022! Overall it was a good experience... I, along with many parents seemingly struggled to keep the kids occupied and entertained during down time waiting for the event to start. Best advice is to come prepared. We purchased tickets online in advance, however the line to scan those tickets was the longest... the line moved quickly but we could have entered the fastest had we just paid cash and purchased tickets at the event. I left my 'dad bag' in the car and wished I would have just brought it in; snacks/beverages. There was plenty of stroller parking for the event, so take more than you think you need and plan accordingly. Overall the event was lots of fun and extremely crowded. Google maps directed us to the wrong gate for entrance. Like I said, plan to arrive early and bring plenty of cash. Lastly, the sun sets in the west towards the left... if you plan on sitting lower, you will be directly in the sun. Higher up in the grand stands will provide shade, but lower will leave you exposed to sun and heat. We might return for another event someday.
A typical county fair with all the positive features that implies. The midway was oddly quiet. But clean and organized. The fairground and roads leading in are lacking signage. And maps and directions would be nice. Everything was clean, restrooms included. We had a very pleasant afternoon.
It is a good size fair! The horse area is a bit spread out, but everything else is easily accessible! A couple of venders were a bit obnoxious. Otherwise, I highly recommend visiting the food vendors and other exhibits!!!!
The kids had a blast...all the rides were fun...$12 entry fee which includes a wristband to ride the whole day...food was excellent but expensive but excellent...overall great time #Haaannn
One of the biggest fairgrounds I've ever seen. Lots and lots of vendors. Several historical sites to see and so much more to see and do!! Derby was awesome!
Just left the Viking festival. Everyone had fun, seeing people in costumes, ax throwing, Mead making demonstration, turkey legs, stopped by Frost Top booth for a free sample....drinks were only $2. Only wish I could was bigger with more food options.
Over crowded. None of the porta pots had. T. P or hand sanitizer The wash stations were completely out of water
So fun and exciting , couldn’t ask for a better day out in the sun enjoying the Viking fest ! So many wonderful merchants and show characters , 10/10 would love to be back next year!
