Trumbull County Department of Job & Family Services

Caseworkers are extremely rude and manipulate the numbers in their favor. They stopped our food assistance with no warning and then send papers with inaccurate income than what was given to them, $2000 dollars off actually and refuse to answer phone calls to rectify their wrongs.

"Our phones are answered from 8:30 AM--" LOL more like they start taking calls when they feel like it, regardless of what time it is. I've called 8 times since their supposed opening time, and each time have gotten, "Hello, and thank you for calling Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services. Our offices are now closed." I probably have the entire script memorized by now. It's only my health insurance I'm calling about, no big deal!

Phone and in office waits are a min. of an hour, but you really can't expect much more when there are so many people on or requesting assistance. They are simply overburdened. Everyone I had dealt with has at least been very polite and courteous.

Everyone who works there should be fired. They are rude, unhelpful, and stuck up on a high horse. They have no clue what they are doing, and expect you to know what information you are supposed to provide.

If I could give this place a Zero I would. The employees are rude, not helpful and have no idea how to treat people. Sad to think these people are paid by tax dollars. And that they deal with people needing support. Plus, I went in for help with writing a resume. Once we put the resume together I got an F on the rating! Weren't they suppose to hflp? Next I found a resource on their website for seniors having difficulty finding Employment. The number didn't work and when I told them about it they just said "I don't know" and told me that I had to do job searching on my own. Don't waste your time time going there they can't help you and they won't help you.
