True Carnivores

I ordered raw food for my dog through delivery. They asked me to leave a cooler outside of the door but at the end, they left the food on the floor, beside my cooler. Luckily I was on the way home and I was able to put the food in the freezer asap. Since I have 2 dogs, I always split their meal and keep close eyes when they are eating. Today, I found a plastic inside their meal and my dog almost ate it because it was mixed in with food. This piece of plastic is separate from the packaging and was embedded in the food If I wasn’t careful, my dog could have choked or worse. Do not recommend this product or brand. Unprofessional delivery to careless quality controls. Company should be ashamed of their poor business practices

If you are hesitant as I was in starting a raw food diet for your cat or dog, just go and talk to these folks! We’ve been on a merry go round for a long time with allergies and getting the food right, so I was nervous. I was immediately put at ease when I went into this store. The woman that helped us was great and right off the hop, helped us know that we weren’t alone. The whole staff and store has good vibes. My kiddo loved looking at all the weird things too. I don’t mean to brag but here we have a photo of Rhubarb left and Blueberry right just being absolute champions of their new kangaroo diet, on the 3rd day of introduction!!! Roobs took to it right away and Bluebs needed a little more time, which is the way of cats. So yah do yourself a favor; stop stressing if you are and just go and talk to them, they will help in a way that makes you feel like you’ve just been invited into a community of support. I’m not kidding, great vibes here! And best of luck getting your fur kiddos on a raw diet!

I've never actually visited the shop but I'm happy that they deliver all the way to Maple Ridge. They have great products that my senior boy enjoys and I know I can trust their quality. Great prices and easy website to navigate and every product has a picture so you know what you're purchasing. I only wish I had discovered this shop in my dog's younger years!

We don’t feed our dog raw, but we go out of our way to come here for the bully sticks and other chews! We love the one ingredient brand. Our pup loves your store and we are treated well by all of the staff. Very friendly, very good prices.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I love that they have delivery and store pick up. They have a huge variety of food and treats and can answer any questions you have. I brought my dog in for a consultation with the owner and he was able to recommend a diet for my dog to keep him healthy and happy.

Great products and great staff. We get bi-weekly delivery from them and it’s a great service. During the winter travel chaos last week, with roads and bridges shut down, they worked with us to make sure we were still able to get our dog’s food as soon as possible. 10/10 for service

I love this place for the greatest selection of raw food for my dogs. The owner is there quite often and is very good at giving good advice when I have the occasion health concern for my senior ladies. He also has quite a selection of free samples when you want to try something

I received the absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced in a long time from True Carnivores. An item I had ordered was not received into inventory by True Carnivores in order for them to deliver it on my scheduled delivery day. Once the product arrived, they made a special extra delivery to my home on a Saturday night. My pup was overjoyed to receive his "special bones" for his Saturday night treat! What a great store. I was educated by a wonderful young lady sorry I forgot your name already and purchased several different options for my cats to try going raw. Also gif a few free treats for them and they love them. The raw food needs to untype so they will be trying that later tonight or tomorrow for breakfast. Thank you for all your help!

Honestly, this will seem like a fake review because I’m gushing....I can’t believe I only just found out about this company! I’ve been feeding my cats raw, clean food - grain free, soy free, weird chemical and ingredient free foods for a few years now and have had to drive all around the lower mainland tracking down the ‘last bags’ or ‘last cans’ of stuff. And all along there existed True Carnivores! A MECCA of customer service, product selection, availability, good pricing, you name it. I feel like my life is going to be forever changed from the delivery program. I am going to tell EVERYONE I come across who lives in greater Vancouver + Fraser Valley area and is conscious about what their pet consumes about this place. The delivery notifications are AWESOME. I am in awe at the reliability and communication levels. I honestly thought this type of business was dead. I’m over the moon it isn’t. The business model here is ON POINT! Other businesses should take note....I appreciate the efficiency and level of care taken here. It’s what used to be the standard out in the world of customer service/customer care. What a breath of fresh air!!! I live with my sister and she has a rabbit, bird, snake, kitten and senior dog. She will now be switching to True Carnivores for as much as she can get for her Mötley Crüe! I can’t thank you enough. Sincerely, Super fan!
