Tremain Mobile Home Park

A quiet country setting, I would say, best describes Tremain mobile home park. I've been here 3 plus years and it has been a peaceful and tranquil place to live.

The lot rent is ridiculously high for a park that makes no effort to keep up with maintenance. Half the streetlights don't work, and haven't for years. The septic system is subpar, and basically at capacity. They have an imminent disaster on their hands with that issue. On nights when the wind comes in from the north, the air picks up the odor of the septic field, and blankets the entire trailer park with that odor. One of the on-site managers for the park is a barely-functioning alcoholic. He will yell at you and swear at you if the mood catches him. If you call the managers with a work/repair/replace/maintain type of request, they almost ALWAYS tell you to take care of the problem yourself. And remember, you are renting your lot from them! And they don't provide basic service in return! Also, there are many, many strict rules in place. To the point in which it seems like the requirements of a homeowners association in a gated community full of million dollar mansions! PLUS, the managers pick and choose who has to follow these rules based on whether or not they like you. PARENTS: If your kid turns 18 whilst you are living here, they either have to go on the lease as a tenant, or they HAVE to move out. Trust me folks; this trailer park is a joke, and is poorly managed my authoritarian dictators! You would do well to find a different place to live. Not to mention that the school district here is Palmyra-Eagle. Quite possibly one of the WORST, and most consistently poorly performing public schools in SE Wisconsin. In short, Tremain sucks. I wanted to give them NEGATIVE 5 stars in this review, but, alas, negative stars are not an option. Thanks, Facebook...

Such a great place to raise children and or not children.. just yourself or you n a dog. Nice place.
