Travelodge Suites Moncton

Decent hotel if you get an exceptional rate. Rooms were kind of falling apart. Guy at the front desk complained to each customer about how much he was working - friendly enough though I did not appreciate him signing me up for the loyalty program without my consent then talking about it as if he did me a huge favor. Hotel due for a refreshment, but if you can get a sub $100 rate it might not be a bad deal.

Breakfast was basically some tables set up right in the lobby. The room was fine, though. Clean enough.

Rooms were very well presented. Large fridge and microwave was very handy.

Arrived for check in, received our keys, went up to the room and our key cards didn't work. Ok, wrong programming, happens all the time. I go back to the lobby and the woman who was ahead of us checking in is back complaining that her room had not been made up. After they checked her into another room (because she was told housekeeping had left for the day) the young woman at the desk reprogrammed our key cards and I went back up to try again. Still no luck opening the door. When I go back to the front desk a second time, another gentleman who was checking in ahead of us was there advising the young woman that his garbage and bedding had not been changed. At this point i was wary of what I was going to see when I finally did get the door open. The woman at the desk informs me that sometimes this happens with the doors here, but it's ok because the master key card she has works and there would always be someone at the desk to let us in when ever we needed. This was not going to work for us as we had plans to come and go several times and asking to have our door opened for us at the front desk each time would be a major inconvenience. So, we insisted on a room with a functional lock. With some reluctance (as we were told there were no more of our room type available that night) she did change our room to a larger suite. We did a quick check of the room when we entered and the room appeared tidy, bed was made, garbage changed. We dropped off our things and set out for the evening. When we returned the same evening we discovered that although the room had been made up there was not a single roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Back down to the lobby I go. The same woman who had been working earlier informed me she misplaced the master key card and couldn't seem to get into the housekeeping closet without it to get me a roll. (Good thing we were not relying on said master key card to get into our room). Eventually she was able to get us an unused roll from another room which was not occupied. The remainder of our stay went relatively well. The room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable and everything was in working order, however due to the clear disorginization of the establishment we will not be going back.

Great all you can eat breakfast. Beds amd rooms clean. Free cookies in the lobby along with a computer. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again
