Travelers Canada

Was a customer of travellers for home insurance. Our premium doubled without warning and when asked what the reasoning was, multiple agents could not provide an answer. I felt like I was being robbed. I would not recommend or use this company.

This is probably the worst customer service I have ever had. I warn anyone dealing with this company, they are not helpful when they mess up, and will not fix their mistakes. The policy is under my partner's name. It started about 3 months ago, travelers tried to pull a payment on an unauthorized date about 20 days early. So we call to find out why, they said it was a mistake, and they would make an exception so the deposit would cover the bounced payment. After about a week we get a letter in the mail saying that we owe them the monthly amount plus an NSF fee. So again we call back again. We were informed again that it was their fault it happened and told that the last person we spoke with was new and was wrong about the deposit and the can under no circumstance would they ever use the deposit for that. We asked what they can do to fix it and they said they will not be able to anything. So then my regular payment date comes and they pull the payment again. So again we call, They said we still owe the full month's payment plus applicable fees, even though it had just pulled. We inform them that in the following month they can pull the required amount for the over due and the regular payment but after that we will cancel and call back to cancel the policy.. so we did have all they amount paid the following month and indeed we did call to say that we are cancelling and found out how long our policy would last after the most current payment. Everything sounded good after that. We were wrong. Now we are in the month we are no longer supposed to be affiliated with this company. Yet again they pulled another payment!

Adjustor tells me if you have any questions just call, so far hasn't responded to a single call or email in 1.5 days

Cancelled me because I got solar panels through a nova Scotia government grant. After being with them for years. They helped my though a house fire and was amazing. Very disappointed. Will never deal with them again

Rather dishonest to say the least. The kind of insurance company you hope you never make claim with or need help from.

Does anyone give their insurance a good review? The companies work very hard to avoid paying out
