Story

Founded in 1999 by Patrick Tsung and Gordon Dreger, GLP Worldwide prides itself on catering to travellers seeking awe-inspiring destinations, novel experiences, and authentic cultural immersion. We partner with lesser-known marine and land operators —the ones that you might only come across if you happened to be in that part of the world. Offering expert industry knowledge and personal insights, GLP Worldwide is a company built by travellers themselves.

GLP Worldwide is also rolling out a fresh marketing approach. Travel for Travellers gives agents the tools they need to present the vision, streamline the sales process, and ultimately deliver a memorable and authentic experience for their clients. Luxury River Barging
A unique holiday experience that has been around for decades but only recently captured the interest of an increasingly discerning Canadian traveler. European River Cruising
This deluxe brand of river cruising in Europe is one that GLP Worldwide Expedition is proud to represent. River cruising has enjoyed a renaissance since the 1992 completion of the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal which enables you to sail on one continuous 4000+ kilometre long river network visiting 13 countries on a 150 passenger ship. AMA Waterways offers an extensive range of itineraries featuring city tours, complimentary wines with dinner and even bicycles to explore ports of call on your own. We also feature our incredible Russian Waterways program aboard the MS Tolstoy sailing along the classic Volga River route between Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Lüftner Cruises
Imagine relaxing in the lounge or your stateroom one moment and stepping off the ship into the city centre in another. With Lüftner Cruises you can enjoy sailing on Europe’s most beautiful waterways onboard premium vessels. With a wide variety of itineraries from the Atlantic to the Black sea discovering Europe by river truly allows travel to take on a new dimension. Lüftner Cruises also offers a number of special cruise programs combined with classical music and opera programs.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines offers a wide variety of sea programs from 2 nights to 104 night programs featuring over 300 ports of call. Utilizing smaller ships that are more intimate, which are able to visit smaller ports and less tendering with a dedicated staff who know you by name. This is traditional British cruising with personal, friendly service. With Fred. Olsen “it’s all about the people.”

Oberammergau 2010
GLP Worldwide Expedition is pleased to present the centuries old Passion Play, which occurs only once every ten years, in conjunction with a variety of river cruise and land itineraries for groups wishing to travel to Germany in 2010 between May and October. Included in all our packages are tickets to the play, meals, 2 nights’ accommodation in Oberammergau plus sightseeing in this Black Forest town in addition to the other features of the selected itineraries.
