A very pleasant dining experience. The pasta was great and a good selection on the menu of different items. The pan roasted shrimp in a dill, garlic cream, spicy tomato jam was out of the world delicious! The tartofu desert was just so tasty! We went later in the evening and it was not busy. The staff was attentive and friendly. We will return!
What an incredible meal. From the starters to mains, you will not be disappointed. Every staff member from owner/chef, chef and service makes it a great experience.
Amazing food, service very attentive but not TOO over bearing. 5 out of 5!! Husband and I both agreed this is our new favourite spot new to us... and will be back. Reasonably priced for date night, and lovely atmosphere for a quiet dinner as well.Food: 5/5
As a chef…. Apps were good, calamari should come with lemon but was good otherwise. We were not asked if we wanted bread when the person sitting in front of us was. Chicken was cut very small for the add on in my pasta but the pasta was tasty, could have used a little more cream for a rosé. The pizza…. I wouldn’t call it pizza. Not sure what the dough was but it wasn’t pizza dough, the sauce was just your basic marinara, not what you would get a a typical Italian restaurant. Maybe I’m just nit picking because I grew up eating at one of the best Italian restaurants in the city but overall it wasn’t terrible but could have been better.
Not sure if we went on a off night. Our server seemed very disinterested in serving us at all. Took him almost 20 mins to take our order after we received our drinks. The meal almost an hour and half to come and the place was not even busy. Only 4 other tables were occupied. Food was nothing special, but the pasta was under cooked. Seems sad that a italian restaurant can’t seem to perfect cooking pasta. Chicken parmigiana was dry and over cooked. They have grilled calamari advertised but not on their menu. Overpriced for a mediocre dinner with terrible service.
Nice, simple Italian dining. Delicious food. Could do with a bit more ambiance and pizzazz. Food is delicious and services good so everything else now has to be brought up to the same level. Love the lasagne
The night we came for dinner the roads outside of town were mostly closed, snow happens up here. The interesting thing about this place is that despite atrocious weather it was almost full. The service was great. The decor was gentle and relaxing. Put all that aside: the reason you go out to dinner is the food. In this case there were zero disappointments. The meatball appetizer was flavorful and just the right set up to my meatless Margarita pasta A daily special so good I want to know the day. My partner had the salmon: perfectly cooked with biscuit like crisp skin and awesome fresh vegetables. There's a decent wine list with some interesting options. And dessert. Fought the battle between tiramisu and creme brule. The creme brule won, generous, crackling carmel supported by the creamiest most luxuriant custard in my memory. This is the Italian restaurant Orangeville needs.
It was well worth our while, figuring out how to get to this nice trattoria. Not their fault the streets were under construct. Our servers were excellent and helped us pick our selections. The shrimp app was outstanding. A must have. The 3 meat lasagna and pizza also amazed us. I know we will be stopping here again, for a meal and glass of wine. We highly recommend you try there Italian food, it was wonderfully memorable. Enjoy!
I've tried every restaurant in Dufferin County and this spot has eluded me until now. It's located in a small strip plaza in an industrial part of Orangeville. The interior setting is warm, welcoming and clean. I truly enjoyed my mushroom soup, grilled calamari along with the attentive service. I'd recommend this Italian restaurant to all the foodies reading this review. Buona mangiata!
Had the bruschetta and grilled calamari for apps wife had fresh linguine mushrooms and chicken she loved it...I had the steak omg juicy ...open concept can see the food being cooked very friendly staff ...
