Transcend Coffee - Garneau

Really great oat latte and spinach feta pastry! The lady who served me was so kind and friendly! The latte art is also beautiful. I liked that the windows are frosted so you get some privacy from people walking past but still get natural sunlight. Lovely place

I always make a point to come visit Transcend when I’m in Edmonton. Their cortados are the perfect ratio of espresso to milk for me. In general most of their drinks are more concentrated and less sweet than what you’d find at your average coffee shop - so perfect if you really like the taste of espresso! This place does tend to run on the pricier side, but the atmosphere is great, the people are lovely - and there’s free parking out back!

I had a flat white with oat milk & my friend Had a cortado w/ oat milk. I have never seen so much milk put in cortado & flat white. They made it like it was la latte . Both the drinks were very milky and taste of coffee wasn’t even there a bit. Really disappointed with this place. I had heard so much from social media. I rarely rate so low but the coffee was disgusting.

Very good coffee! Quick service and good snax. Lovely place and they have comfy booths as well as chairs outside.

Discovered this yesterday after a day of scootering around in the rain. Got myself a pain au chocolat and a chai latte and they were probably one of the best, if not the best, chai lattes I have ever tasted! The froth was just perfect and the ambience definitely elevated the whole experience. Definitely a must visit if you want something quaint, big on flavours, and not a disappointment. Prices were fair, too! And the people there were so kind and warm! Such a great discovery!

Great customer service explaining all the beans and roasting methods. Fantastic baked goods extremely fresh and delicious. Finally the cappuccino and coffee was great with minimal acidic aftertaste and the flavour profiles were easily showcased. Easily one of the best coffee shops in Edmonton.

Genuinely the best lattes I have had in Alberta! And that is saying plenty, because I have had a lot of lattes. I had a croissant from here and it was so flaky and buttery. The staff members were also so kind and helped me out with ordering

I love Transcend, especially the Garneau location. It’s a pretty quiet cafe with beautiful sunshine and great coffee. The coffee is a bit on the expensive side and I wish they had more outlets, but the vibe and friendly staff are definitely huge bonuses. I’d give it a 4.5 if google would let me :

I've been coming to this coffee shop for years ever since university and it has never failed me. Modern decor, great cappuccinos and friendly service. They set up booths recently to accommodate social distancing. This coffee shop brings much value to the garneau community.
