Kaffa Roaster and Studio

What a warm, rustic spot with great coffee! Roomy and spacious, it's filled with antique-like furniture. They serve quality coffee, roasting the beans in-house. The music was at a low volume, making it easy to have good conversation. Service was great; really helpful. The place was clean, including the one washroom. A couple things to note. Because it's accessible only by stairs, this is inaccessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Also, this place specializes in coffee and serves alcohol. Don't expect meals, just light snacks that compliment coffee. Excited to go back.

This is a very cozy bright spacious rustic place on second floor of the building. The place Lotsa space for seating including comfy sofas and chairs. The selection of coffee is basic but artistic. The selection of food is limited but the cafe is linked to sugar bowl, a local favorite restaurant on the main floor of the same building. The selection here at the cafe can be a simple delicate pour over or a nicely crafted latte. A very comfortable atmosphere to come sit and enjoy your coffee drink. Coffee roasting machine at the side of this cafe shows everything is done on site for the freshest taste. A must try for coffee enthusiastic. You won't regret it.

Kaffa Roaster and Studio is a must for any coffee lover here in YEG! First of all, the interior was great! The atmosphere is great for anything from a date to catching up with a friend! I had the cold brew and it was perfect! It was a tad bitter, just how I like it! I also had the cookie and it was sweet and chewie!

Warm Atmosphere in a historical building just east of the University. Coffee cappuccinos / espresso are good. Food is available from neighboring businesses to eat on site with your coffee.

I don't think enough people know this place even exists. Kaffa is an amazing java experience unlike any other in Edmonton. It's just hard to discover as you have to find the door that leads upstairs to this oasis. First off, the space is amazing. There are so many generic java spots in Edmonton. This one is stunning with it wide open space, the antique furniture and beautiful high beams and the possibility to open the windows to the street below in summer. The java is high quality and has been prepared and roasted beautifully. The servers are extremely kind and professional on top of everything else. The other blessing is that the space is relatively quiet compared to other joints. It may be the openness and/or the space between tables/seats. I can't speak highly enough about this space. The only challenge will be to find parking as there are a few new outlets here in this revitalized neighborhood. 5 x Parking: There's a few spots to park out back.

Cozy, pretty place! Good selection of coffee & teas. And they have cookies. The great thing about this place is that is right next to Sugarbowl and you can order takeout there and eat it here :

My second time coming here and getting a Cappuccino. Must say, this place has amazing espresso. Very smooth, and delicious both times I've gone here. Compliments to the roasters and barista.

A great, moody cafe near the university. Parking around this area can be a pain but parking a couple blocks down and walking in this lovely neighbourhood is something that I like. A number of areas with different seating options makes this a great place for small to large groups. I wish this place was around when I was in university. I would have spent so much time here.

Super cozy cafè in a nice area. You can buy pastries from Eleonor& Laurant to eat with your coffee and spend some quiet time here instead of the busy and noisy patio outside. You can also order food from Sugar Bowl. I love the style, coffee is a bit too roasted for my taste but this place is worth a bit of bitterness! There is a steep staircase to access it, so maybe not everyone will be able to enjoy it. They should advertise it more! Nobody realize there's such a hidden jewel up there!

Kaffa is one of my favorite coffee places in Edmonton, with the rustic antique furniture and cool bar, it has the best laid back vibe, coffee is very good and with cinnamon buns from the sugar bowl and some good soup and toasted sandwich options it's a great place to relax and enjoy a coffee, they will be starting up live music again soon, the Alexander is a hot chocolate latte made with french gin and it's one of my favorite things to get when I visited. Parking: Parking is a little tricky to get, mostly in the back and around the place on the street.
