In 1999, the former Township of Huron, Township of Kinloss and Village of
Lucknow amalgamated to form the Township of Huron-Kinloss. The Township’s municipal office is located at 21 Queen St. Ripley. Huron-Kinloss has an economy based largely on agriculture and agricultural services, including food processing (Pine River Cheese & Butter Co-Op). The Township boasts the friendly villages of Lucknow, Ripley and Point Clark that are full of community spirit and have rich histories dating back more than 150 years. The friendly communities, sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets are just a few reasons why you will want to “stay for a while… or a lifetime”.
