Town Docks Restaurant

Awesome place to go if you’re in Meredith. Great food and drink selection. Plus ice cream! It has great views and the food is fairly priced. Accessible by boat. I recommend stopping here.

I've always loved this place for the great views, tasty drinks and delicious fish and chips, but now I've had to downgrade them. They got rid of all of their pet friendly seating (except a single table in the parking lot) despite a large amount of outdoor tables. After being unable to seat our family because of our dog, they then got our order for take out wrong leaving out a kids meal despite 2 children standing right there when the order was made. They then didn't offer to fix it in any way. This partnered with the high prices for what you get have really altered my feelings about this restaurant.

Great view. Decent food. Both types of lobster rolls are good. Large portions. Skip the fries, homemade chips are killer. Service was friendly and fast. Beer list was lacking. For the outdoor seating, tables and chairs were falling apart a bit.

Firstly, there is no way you could anything negative about the view. Now, I decided upon the fisherman's platter. Not overly generous portion-wise ( thank God ). The haddock was very good. The rest of the platter all tasted like soggy great wet batter.And, the texture of the scallops left me wondering if they were left soaking in brine too long. Overall waitstaff was frendly meal was less than average.

Eh, I'm sure this appeals to many people so I can't really say it's bad. But I got the large lobster roll with mayo and was underwhelmed. Lovely atmosphere though. Seating on the lake is a must.
