Onions Pub & Restaurant truly has something for everyone. In the Pub you can enjoy traditional, homemade British pub food at a reasonable price. I had such high hopes for this place. We went in at 11:50 (they opened at 11). They were out of multiple items on the lunch menu. I asked what the soup of the day was (also on the menu) and the chef hadn't come up with one or even begun to cook it yet. We asked for extra crispy wings and they barely looked cooked. The chicken in the chicken tenders was an odd texture and very dry. They comped us $2.40 on a $60 meal. Taste of food was ok, I would not go back. Ambience was nice, and the server did her job.

My fiance and I love Onions, it's our favorite restaurant. We eat there at least once a week. The regular menu is great, the daily specials are creative and all the food is delicious. The staff and owners are friendly and courteous. We've been going there since we moved to the Tilton area, 5 years ago, we've always had good food, good service and a good experience. I highly recommend Onions.

Lamb chops were delicious as was the Shepherds Pie and stuffed haddock ordered by family. Ordered the onion rings because with a name like Onions I hoped they'd be incredible. Unfortunately, they were way too bready and rather bland. Our waitress was a doll. Took a rather long time to get our meals; definitely some issues in the kitchen. Overall tho, a good experience and we would return again.

Wonderful food and staff. Yes, the decor is a bit dated. The owners have had restaurants in Bermuda and have relocated here, hence Onions, the nickname for native Bermudans. They have hornet food, wonderful specials and great pub food ( i.e. Bangers and Mash) and the best burger in NH. If you ask for their wedge fries well done, it's like eating potato skins.

Went to apply for a position, looked around, atmosphere was intimately soft,ok place for lunch and dinner or a quick getaway, very clean
