Huge selection of toys and accessories which made my shopping very easy I was just killing time for having to pick up my dog and ended up buying him a bunch of stuff. The staff was helpful and friendly even though it was right before closing.
Great staff good variety of foods for most pets. Habitat's and accessories as well as a few very healthy pet's. The ferret we took home is beautiful and healthy.
Total Pet on Harvey Ave, Kelowna BC has an outstanding team of staff members with a welth of knowledge more than happy to share with anyone and are also open to new information anyone has to share with them. I have bought variety of freshwater tropical fish over the past 4 years from this location and have had a high success rate of survival. I'd like to send a special Thank You to a particular employee "Roya" you are such a joy to see when I come in and that you are a 10/10 professional and personal levels. Thank you Total Pet for having such a well-rounded and first team, each and every moving part that makes up your team.
Very upset seeing the condition of the animals here. I went in yesterday afternoon, and the employees didn’t offer any help. There was containers of dead fish sitting on the desk. The ferrets cage was filthy and there was caked on poop to the bars of the cage and puddles of urine in the cage that were starting to dry up. There was poop all over the floor and their food was dried up and crusty. The water bowl was terribly dirty. The cage smelt terrible. When I informed the staff two young girls- one understood my concern but the other girl was very rude and didn’t care. I emailed head office and have yet to hear back. I won’t be purchasing anything here again.
We are traveling and stopping by Kelowna. When we realized that we left the leashes at park, it’s almost 7pm. Thanks to this store, which opens till 9pm, we were able to get good quality leashes in time. Very friendly staff. Thank you.
They were so helpful and went out of their way to ensure I was getting the right things for my fur baby...well spikey baby lol. Even though they weren't as experienced with hedgehogs, they helped me find the info I needed to make good choices.
I walked in and saw a dog being bathed in a public open area. I felt really cold in there with the AC blowing on me. Then I imagined how cold a dog must be, being wet and having the AC blowing around. When I mentioned the concern to the person at the till, they replied "The heat comes out from the back of the store." Well you could always bring a small heater out next to the pet bath station or turn the AC off. It's fall weather now idk why they even have it on. For someone that works with animals they didn't seem too concerned about it. I wouldn't want my dog to be uncomfortable during a situation that's already stressful for it.
Super friendly staff. Knowledgable. I appreciate the steps taken for covid19. Limiting patrons, social distancing and hand sanitizer. Lots if stock. Fair prices. Lots of parking too.
Lisa at total pet is such a sweetheart, shes so helpful, kind and just all around lovely! she helped Eddie my pup find his winter jacket and was so patient about the whole experience! thanks Lisa, total pet is lucky to have you
Highest prices in town, it's a 50/50 chance to get polite friendly staff. Don't expect them to price match even though online says it's guaranteed.
