Best place to take a nervous pup for a grooming. I wouldn't let anyone touch my jumpy rescue for a nail trim but the one red headed girl there. I've even watched from a far and seen how she calms my dog when she starts to get nervous. She is the only groomer I've had that can trim my dogs nails successfully and calmly all by herself, most people need others to help assist them.

All I can say is, our pets don't have a voice of their own- so be VERY careful taking your pet to this grooming salon as our experience was horrible. To begin with, I have taken my 4 month old puppy in, 2 other times and those visits have gone much smoother. This time we called and booked an appointment, when we arrived I noticed the pre-written bill for a puppy bath had been written as: "$47 Golden retriever bath". I have a 4 month old lab. The cost should have been $19- plus the cost of nail trim which is $10 I decided to wait until I had to pay to discuss the price. When I asked if it will be about an hour again like the other two times, the lady said it will be 2 hours. Of course it didn't take 2 hours and we got a call within the hour to pick her up- I said to the lady that we will be there in the next 15 minutes, and advised her that our puppy is super claustrophobic and can't handle a crate ( as I could hear my puppy screaming and barking through the phone and knew she was in the crate!) I asked her if I can please pay extra and have her watch the puppy, she said yes. I got there in less then 15 minutes only to hear my dog barking and crying and whimpering. I asked her if she in the crate and she said she is not, and she is barking at other dogs, I am more then 100% positive this was not the case! I then asked if she was sure she isn't in a crate and she told me she is in a big cage with other dogs.... which sounds a whole lot like a crate. I got my puppy and she was shivering and quite distraught. When in the car, I took a good look at her paws and her nails had been so badly trimmed that one of them had been shredded and the others had pieces of nail hanging... One of them was missed and not even trimmed. I was so upset at the fact that this employee would lie about crating my dog, when specifically asked not to. I would completely understand if she had said I had to crate her as that is policy, rather then lying and then calling a crate a cage. I will not be recommending this grooming service to anyone else. Unfortunately, I also paid an unfair price, but that will be last $ I spend with them. Yes, they are a big company and can afford to lose my bushiness, but... I would rather share my experience so nothing like this happens to any other puppies.

Went today and had awesome service from a lady helping me at the fish department. I don't know her name. She lives in Joe rich area and has goats. I hope petsmart can look up her name. I will go there again thanks to her for her great knowledge and wonderful service. Went shopping today and found out her name is Jean. I told her I gave her a recommendation. She said thank you. I hope one day she hears something from petsmart as she hadn't. It is so nice to give praise to a good employee.

Booked appointment one week in advance. Lady at counter had a don’t care attitude. Came in for grooming and told we did not have a booking. Lady even remembered making booking the previous week. Asked to talk to the manager and it is clear he did not care about it either. We are in the store once a week for training, buying toys and treats. We get the dog groomed every two weeks. I guess we will take our business elsewhere.

Always well stocked with a good selection of merchandise. Staff are usually very friendly and knowledgeable. Good parking and conveniently located. I genuinely look forward to my monthly visits for kitty food.
