Took a trip down to the Toronto Railway Museum today and had the place to myself. Open for tours inside or you can explore the grounds. First time seeing everything here and worth the trip. Great spot for kids as they would have the time of there lives. And Steam Whistle patio is open next door.
Loved the downtown. Lucky to get a parking easily. Seemed well managed.
It’s a fantastic place. Although I didn’t have the time to enter the museum, I spent some time at the yard which had some engines from the bygone era stationed. Each has some kind of history to it and an informative signboard gives all the details. It’s a good place for kids and families to spend some time.
Very Good. I really enjoyed the tour and would definitely try to go again to experience the other tour and the miniature train ride. Parking was also not too bad to find and not too far. It especially helped being able to get the parking pass that could be added with the tickets.
Nice little museum, small but with lots of info. The staff was very friendly. I wish we could've seen the back where they renovate the trains but I understand why that's not possible. We enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed this place, I learned a lot in the museum about the Canadian's railways history and outside I took some amazing photos.
Nice place to visit and explore during summer time.
