We are a local, family-owned operation that takes pride in our roots and our community. We believe in supporting local growers, brewers, vintners, and producers of all kinds as much as possible. Our Chef and owner Ben Kline serves up fresh, quality food in the spirit and tradition of Northern Michigan. Went to a instructional painting/wine party held there by the owners. I painted a really cool picture. There was wine and snacks. It was around twenty women that were all friendly. Everyone had lots fun.

Always went here before the change of ownership. We would go here in the order of times per week. Now have gone only twice in three months, hoping it would be better the next. But the service continued to degrade. The portions were small, and the food is now usually plain "bad," if not bad then tasteless. Not worth the prices either. We do not have plans to come back in the near future.

We went tonight for the first time since they reopened. Between fish tacos and bratwurst we were delighted! We'll be back.

Excellent meal. I chose pan seared trout served in a bowl with lentils, sautéed summer squash, and a fennel salad. The menu offers a variety of choices. I was impressed with the healthy options such as cauliflower rice and lentils. The chef is very attuned to today's cuisine.

Food is ok, I would say average. Paid a $43 bill with a $100. I left the 2 fives and 2 ones, took the rest and left. Only later to realize I was shorted $20. So when they bring you all those 5s and 1s for change. Make sure you count it. Might have been an honest mistake Or maybe I dropped it. ?? They have clear plastic protecting the vynil table clothes, not sure why. Makes the place look cheep.
