Top Thrill Dragster

It was really cool to see this ride but unforunately I was late to the party. I still think it was a cool sight to see, the first stratocoaster in the world! Anyways I’m excited to see what they add next.

Sad day that this amazing coaster is being retired. Looking forward for the new and reimagined ride experience. First strata roller coaster ever built at 420 feet tall. 0 to 120 mph in 4 seconds!

Rest in peace you beast of a ride. You were awesome. I'll never forget all the times I've been on it. Such a thrill seekers life you ride until the end. Top Thrill Dragster you weren't a good ride you were the best!!!

One of the most thrilling experiencing in the park, hence the name, Top THRILL Dragster. The Ride The Top THRILL Dragster is about 30 seconds long with, on average, a one hour wait time or twenty minutes with FL+. It is pure adrenaline and the build up is intense. This is a no-brainer to go on if you visit Cedar Point, especially if you have FL+. Safety This ride might be the safest in the park, even though it's the tallest. The ride is fairly reliable, with the only real variable being wind and maybe weight. Rollbacks sometime happen but they are extremely safe and result in more fun, that being another launch. Conclusion An extremely fun ride that, although has an extremely long wait usually, is a must for those visiting. Side Note The birds around the Top Thrill are INSANE. They constantly zipped by and even ran into guests waiting for the ride. It was hilarious.

The last time I got to ride it was likely 2016, that trip was low on attendance so we got multiple rides mostly front car too. Who knew what the future would hold. Hoping for a positive solution to a bummer situation, stay blessed y'all. I never got to experience a roll back, only got to see em happen in line waaaaahhh

09.06.22 UPDATE: CEDAR POINT HAS DECIDED THAT TOP THRILL DRAGSTER AS WE KNOW IT WON'T REOPEN. HOWEVER... Cedar Point is wasting no time and have already began the process of making it even more epic. It will rethemed and move away from the current hydraulic launch system to a LSM for launches Linear Synchronous Motor is a form of electro-magnetic propulsion. They replace a traditional lift hill and do not contain any moving parts. Typically LSM systems launch the roller coaster from the station extremely quickly.

This is one of the tallest, fastest, most exciting roller coasters in the world. I have riden this ride dozens of times over the years, and waited for hours in line when it first opened. I always look forward to riding this when I visit the park, which I will be doing next week so I am super excited. This is one of the many amazing rides at the park that you should tide.

For the thrill of the ride itself, not including wait times or the operation, this ride it’s completely 5 stars. It’s extremely fun, super thrilling and I would say the blast off is probably the most fun part of it. I was so nervous to ride this at first but I was so glad i did. I would definitely recommend getting the fast pass plus for it though, the regular lines are super long. And the only thing that really sucks about the ride itself is that it tends to break down a lot.

Top Thrill Dragster is absolutely the Best ride there or any park !! Such a great, thrilling and smooth experience to ride it!!! Millennium Force is second. Everything else there is nothing that special, most very rough and jerky. Will not be returning to Cedar Point, not worth the time just for one or two decent coasters now, it’s a shame they are closing Top Thrill, absolutely terrible decision by Cedar Point!!!!

I wonder what the future of this ride will be. I suppose it depends on the outcome of the recent incident. When we visited the park yesterday 8/30/21 it stood silent. I've always been afraid to ride it, but it's been a very popular attraction for parkgoers.
