Power Tower

Red side launches you 240 feet into the air. Blue side drops you 240 feet.

Exciting ride in which you can choose to either be spiraled into the air or plumetted downwards. I preference downwards, though, up can be quite entertaining too. It's fast and the anticipation of the drop can be really fun, plus, you're getting some great views of the park. I wish that it was a little higher though, or maybe a little faster, after the first major bump upwards or hurl downwards you sort of just bounce a bit which doesn't do much for you after the initial start. It's a fun ride, when considering the wait, which most of the time is essentially walk on, but, it isn't a ride I'd wait for, or seek out. Located in center of park, so you'll be near enough often and can choose based on the wait times.

Power Tower at Cedar Point is the best ride there, and my home park. Like the drop side best, always start off with the Space Shot up, and Turbo Drop down.

Favorite thrill ride in the park. Drop side is most definitely better than shot side, as it is more thrilling waiting at the top to be dropped down, taking in the views of the park and surrounding landscape at the same time.

Great ride, especially because of the typically short wait time. Drop side is better if you ask me, like a bigger version of the old Demon Drop.

Very fun 200 foot drop tower with four different towers and two different types of drops. One type will launch you up and let you fall immediatel, the other slowly takes you up the tower and waits a few seconds before dropping you down. Both are really fun to try but I prefer the slow method because of the anticipation of the drop and longer time to enjoy the view.

Very enjoyable tower ride that offers the option of an upward or downward launch.

I love Power Tower! Two towers launch up, and two towers launch down. Get the east facing seats for a view of Lake Erie. Very smooth.

Must try. Dont do this ride with long lines.
