I live most of the year in hotels. This is THE nicest I've stayed in a LONG time. Absolutely incredible decor and clean. Very clean. And I've stayed in all the big name hotels. Staff was amazing as well. After staying here the rest are a JOKE. A place like this is usually double what I paid. HIGHLY recommend. All the amenities are fabulous too! Wow I'm super impressed
I stayed here with a group of friends while visiting our friends from Central! The hotel is near campus & there’s a rear entrance leading straight to the parking lot, making it easy to sneak in and out of the building without disturbing other hotel guests. The room itself felt like a 5 star experience, the beds are SO comfortable & decor is chic. The views are incredible & staff were extremely nice. We are for sure staying here next time we are in town!
Truly like the property. The rooms, while small, are well equipped. The photo is of 2 Tanqueray martinis we had in-room hubby went to bar to grab them for us since our dog was with us. While it was lovely to have a drink in the privacy of our room, paying just under $37 for 2 of them seemed a bit over the top. I am in the industry and found the drink prices surprising. All in all, I definitely recommend Windrow, just don't expect "smaller town" pricing.
Excellent value. Booked late and got a really good rate. Service was excellent. The room was comfortable, and the bed was heavenly. Hotel Windrow is near many good restaurants. All and all a very enjoyable stay.Rooms: 5/5
Well, this is the best hidden secret in Ellensburg WA, as far as accommodations go! We stumbled into Hotel Windrow because we were looking for a nice room within walking distance to dinning, shopping and the Clymer museum. Granted, there was no bar or dining on site, thanks to COVID, but there was a wonderful breakfast bar that made the stay perfect. The rooms were as clean as they could possibly be. There were plenty of good pillows and bedding and the mattress was perfect. This all made for a good night’s rest. The room was quiet enough with street noise in the very background. It was bright and airy with no weird odors. The modern design and clean lines were in keeping with an upgraded feel of luxury within a reasonable price range. They had two parking options behind the hotel and a back entrance, with an unloading zone in the front of the hotel. The lobby was beautiful with a gas fireplace and plenty of seating to visit with friends. There was also a loft type seating area upstairs overlooking the lobby. Small loft area…. I had better not forget to mention how nice the bathroom was. Great space to put on make up! The bathroom was sparkling with perfect tile, a vessel sink, shower and tub. We did have an upgraded room since they were not very busy that Tuesday evening. I also checked out their conference room and was pleasantly surprised. A staff employee named Thomas was doing a set up for a conference starting the next day. All the staff there were to be applauded for their excellent attitudes and experience. Each and every person I met bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. I can’t image staying anywhere else in the future. Next, walk over to the Huntsman restaurant for dinner. It made for a perfect night! Don’t forget to like my review and photos. Follow me, I’ve had over 1.1 million reviews read by people like you. My
My husband and I always stay here when we are in Ellensburg visiting friends or family. It is within walking distance of our favorite restaurants and the rooftop is amazing! Stay here if you'd like a clean, safe, well-kept hotel to relax in. Internet is great, towels are nice, water in the shower gets hot and their is a coffee maker and tea in the rooms, what more could you want!? Oh and it's pet friendly!
Booked day of for a really good rate. The room was cozy cute and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Location is great. Close to shops, CWU and restaurants downtown. Only thing missing is onsite restaurant. Would have loved to be able to order room service instead of go out in cold but otherwise it was a great place to stay. Will definitely stay again next visit.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was small and it was hard to turn the shower on without avoiding the cold water before it warmed up. The room was clean and it was quiet. The staff were nice. The parking is the biggest downside. The parking lot is about a block away.Rooms: 4/5
Small but very clean rooms with everything you need. Fantastic staff. Good water pressure in shower. Bed was comfortable, linens great and nice toiletries. Worth the cost but there were two large negatives 1. Parking was a block away but it felt far since it was windy with freezing rain. I was soaked by the time I got to the hotel. 2. The room didn’t get dark at night. The opening under the hallway door is very high which let in a lot of light plus noise. The bathroom light didn’t turn off and the barn door left a large gap around and under the door.
Passing through for the night while we make our way back to NC. We moved from WA last year & we’re road tripping back. Highly recommend this place. In the heart of downtown. Super service, brand new, rooms are some of the best we’ve stayed in & we’ve stayed in over 300+ hotels through our travels. We were going to stay in the Hampton but I’m so glad their card processing was being difficult which led us to here. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if you’re looking for a hotel. The prices are even cheaper than any of them around here. Cool fact: this hotel was built around the elks club. VERY cool!
