A bit pricey, but worth every penny. Our server, Ashley, was extremely knowledgeable in both the drinks as well as menu items. We were very happy with the food, I could not have asked for a better tasting steak, others went with spaetzel Mac and cheese and another went with breaded pork schnitzel. We cannot recommend the food enough. And we did a tasty 4 drink sampler where you choose all 4 of what you'd like to try.
Ellensburg is a great college town - with lots of good, standard fare. Love it here - and really hope all eat well - but it is seldom as destination. Jim Rowe, Master of Deliciousness, has done it again. The house salad, often a fairly boring affair, is perfectly balanced with tart dried cherries, very fresh field greens, feta cheese, bits and bobs of crunchy, salty, spicy, goodness - topped with a dressing that would make the Bear proud. Then there is the chicken - what magic from the Black Forest is lurking in the mind of this Munich-inspired Mad Man? Perfectly browned, crunchy, tender and juicy on the inside, on a gravy-ish white sauce that had lovely, rich, buttery tones with the right highlight of herbness. Which was the platform for the co-star - some magic pretzel cake of goodness to slurp up all the chicken-gravy-white-sauce-butter-crunch-herb flavor. It was a mind-blower. What other delights await at our next meal? Tune in next week - same Bat time, same Bat station. Well done Jim and team! Wow.
Driving through and had low expectations based on past Ellensburg dining experiences… but we were pleasantly surprised! Atmosphere, beer, food and service were all great! Service especially stands out! Enjoyed the Heatwave beer and the wife liked the Moscow Mule Mocktail. Tried the sauerkraut bites Knutsack, beet salad and pork belly special. All unique and tasty. This will be our go to food spot when driving across the state going forward!
Great service! Rosy was a great server! Had the tacos and pretzel. For a German restaurant they made some killer tacos. Beer was very good, I recommend the Dogtown porter.Food: 5/5
Wife and I had been in a couple of times before. This visit was no different from the previous. Awesome, knowledgeable staff. Food was great. Atmosphere was perfect, not too rambunctious, but not sullen. Veteran friendly. We will be regulars here for sure!Food: 5/5
We love the Ellensburg Brewery, it's our favorite for date night. We love the beers and ciders. Our server is usually Ashley and she takes great care of us. She knows everything about the beers and new specials. I recommend the knutsacks, roasted chicken and alllll the schnitzels. And I'd actually eat my own hand if they covered it in bier cheese
Server was awesome: quiet, no nonsense service. Seahawks game on TV above the fireplace.
Wow... just wow. This was hands down one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The cherry cider was out if this world, and trust me you need to get the cookie skillet. On top of that it was a great atmosphere with stellar service. Highly recommend making this a stop on your way through!!!
They have a robot that brings your food and it talks to you. A bit expensive
This place was amazing! The atmosphere was professional and the service was unparalleled.I had Ashley as a server and she was incredibly knowledgeable about all the beers and ciders. She asked me a few questions about flavors I liked then suggested a couple drinks I ended up loving. The food was also delicious. Amazing place I will be back.
