Story

Since 2007, Tony's has been serving New Brunswick's finest French pastries, baked goods, and gourmet sandwiches. Due to increasing demand, we have recently expanded to include a full evening menu, including a selection of local and imported beers and wines. We are now opened in the evenings- stop in and see us tonight!

I visited Tony’s for lunch with friends who are regulars on a chilly January Saturday. The greeter found us a lovely table quickly. We all ordered the amazing chicken pot pie with sides of pasta and kale salads, and a chilled bottle of French Chardonnay. We were admiring the amazing offerings of the bakery side on our way in—everything you could imagine in a French patisserie such as Opera torte, macarons, beautifully decorated shortbread cookies, but sadly we had no room for dessert. Our server was attentive, helpful and bilingual. Enjoyed my lunch so much that I took home pieces of carrot cake and chicken pot pie to my husband. Tony’s is my new favourite lunch spot for visits to Moncton. Delicious!
The service was good and the staff were polite and attentive. However, as a vegetarian, the food options were very disappointing. Their website shows multiple menus, which made it confusing, and we assumed there would be 4–5 vegetarian choices. Upon arrival, we were told that they have different menus for different seasons, which wasn’t clear online.nnIn reality, the only vegetarian option available was a falafel burger—and unfortunately, they were out of it. We ended up having just fries, which were overly salty. While the service was good, food is the most important part of a dining experience, and not being able to properly eat was frustrating.nnI hope they improve clarity on their website and offer more consistent vegetarian options in the future.
Atmosphere and service was top notch!nnThe regular food was pretty good. Fries were amazing.nnHowever, desserts were average at best IMO. Got a few, but the brownie itself was not good at all. Completely tasteless, and for $8!?! I cannot believe that's the brownie you get for $8. Super disappointing.
The best Eggs Benedict I have ever had, the eggs are nested on top of the most delicious pastry and topped with a creamy homemade hollandaise sauce. I also had an Irish coffee topped with the cute mini gingerbread cookie.
A true explosion of flavor, it was outstanding. We thank the excellent kitchen team and the extremely attentive service.nnWe come back! Merci
