Awesome experience! We were given a “gift card” by some friends and went in today to give them a try. We met the owner who was nothing short of amazing to us. He brought our shivering family in from the cold, gave us some samples since we’d never tried been there and even made my daughter a cheese pizza while we waited for our order. Hands down the nicest we’ve ever been treated at a place. You can tell the owner cares deeply about his business and enjoys feeding people. My daughter couldn’t stop raving about the pizza the whole 30 minute drive home, she said it was the best pizza she’s ever had and she can’t wait to go back. The subs and pasta salad were bomb. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Tony :
This is hands down best the best sandwich shop in metro detroit. I went with the party Cuban. Their pasta salad is excellent as well. I drove 30 miles to get this today. My picky kids even love it!
Large portions and quality ingredients, may seem pricey at first glance but it's well worth every penny. The sandwiches and salads I've had are a perfect balance of everything. The bread was soft but not soggy, and nothing was lacking. Wait time was long, but again - worth it!
Tony makes fantastic food and his pasta salad is the greatest you have ever had. Tony is always a nice guy he just doesn’t have a smile all the time because he’s busting his a$$ to make you the best sandwiches you have ever had. Don’t trust all these Karen’s leaving 1 star reviews. They have never been here, thy just saw some other Karen post on Facebook about how he would move her massive order up for her last minuet. Food is fantastic, and Tony is great.
The website and email confirmation said that it would be ready by 6:08 and it was not ready until 7:15. We waited for over an hour at the restaurant. They had told us that it was coming right out of the oven, but the middle of the pizza was completely cold. I would have left and gotten dinner elsewhere if I didn't already pay for it through their website. I am completely understanding of long wait times, but the website and email confirmation need to reflect that information. We could have avoided sitting at the restaurant for over an hour or I could have ordered from somewhere else. I think that the most disappointing part of all of this was the cold pizza. That is completely unacceptable.
I had always liked going here, but since the pandemic I've noticed bad attitudes and service. I've NEVER been talked to the way the guy I think owner had talked to me in the food industry. So bad, I would never go back and my husband knows better than to bring it home. I like supporting businesses who treat their customers well and the way I was talked to means my business is not appreciated, so I'll take it elsewhere.
The food was awesome. Everything we tried was excellent. Tony was super friendly and excited about the food. He even gave me a piece of cheesy bread to try, which I’m definitely ordering next time.
I was having a wake at my home and went to Tony`s for food, I may have gave them the wrong date and they prepared the food a day to early. when I offered to to split the cost for the mistake the owner said no way. he picked up the charge and supplied the food the next day. the food was excellent and his compassion was amazing.
I ordered the same sub I get for years, when I picked it up I asked where the dressing was because I get it on the side, he made it wrong an put it on there, he was very rude with a bad attitude and said, was I there when my husband had ordered it? I said ya like it matters I was thinking. I said I don"t like it on it or it gets soggy plus not all of us like it, he said I"ll just give you a refund really rude. He says i"ve been studying this for yrs. I could not believe a business owner could be so rude to me. He could of just checked the history and seen we never ordered it on the sub. He was so sarcastic. Actually when I got home it was very soggy, maybe he should study a lot longer. P.S just lost a very good customer. Maybe he should stay off the steroids and he wont have such an attitude.
