"Founded by the Gambino Family in 1972, it was originally known as Figaro's Pizza. Our celebrated family recipe hails from Palermo, Sicily. After becoming a staple on the east coast, the hand-tossed legacy lives on in Minnesota. Our first Tono location, in Maplewood, opened in 2019. Our second location, in Saint Paul, opened in 2020. This is our third location, and we are very excited to be part of the Coon Rapids community!To pay homage to our history, we built another beautiful brick-oven to add a unique flavor to our pies. We invite you to come have a taste of tradition!"

Monday afternoon lunch with the husband. $40 for a pizza, sandwich, fries, and 2 drinks. We had a great time and had an opportunity to speak with 2-3 employees. All with outstanding customer service. This location is small but cute! Most customers came in to pick up their orders, very quick transactions. We ordered when we got there after speaking with the person supporting the front and our food was done in less than 10 minutes. I couldn't believe it! They make your food fresh and on the spot. The pizza had fresh ingredients and a PERFECT crust! Only draw back was the flimsy center. Knife and fork pizza about half way up, then fold in half <3 Cheesesteak was dry. LOADS of beef YUM! and a good bun. Not a ton of flavor and minimal cheese multiple choices but I got pepper jack. I'd definitely go again, but I'd skip the sandwich and go with a well done pizza in that amazing oven
This was our second time there, it was delicious. I've tried the Nashville Chicken and Walleye specials. They are some of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere, they are big though, definitely filling, could easily share, if you want to... And the parmesan truffle fries are AMAZING! I will be back and will have to give the pizzas a try, they also look great. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a small indoor dining area, but we've gotten a table both times. Give them a try!
Ordered the #2 South Jersey Cheesesteak, the #13 Don Pepe Pizza and the #9 Classico pizza. The sandwich bread was soft and delicious, the pizza crust was thin and flavorful I especially liked the sausage flavor, slight anise. Very friendly staff, we were served in less than 5 minutes after ordering and sitting. HIGHLY recommended. Meals, drinks, and tip $55, and plenty for leftovers later.
*New Spot to try* 5/5 Cheesesteak sandwiches great flavor, bread super soft and so filling. Perfect amount of fries. Sauces were good too. Pizza was delicious. It was Italian style. Looking forward to going back and trying some of the other items on the menu. There is indoor and Outdoor seating. Nice assortment of drink choices...staff was great.

Tried this place for the first time. Presentation of food is beautiful. Philly cheesesteak was good. Plant based was good as well. Truffle fries are delicious. Classico pizza was okay. I think more cheese would be a good idea for the pizza, we could not taste the cheese. Thank you for offering plant based for your sandwiches! Yum
We got the Tono pizza and truffle fries. The grilled onions were so good and the truffle fries were so addicting. I think the portions for the price were perfect for two people. We didn’t finish our food but we brought it home and finished it there later. Maybe it’ll be different for you but we split a pizza and shared fries. Totally worth it and the staff were laid back. Definitely on my list for pizza nights now.
Simply fantastic! Pizza and cheese steak are equally amazing! This family knows what their doing! So glad they've opened a place so close to our home in Anoka! Do yourself a favor and start with the classic philly with cheese whiz, trust me! All sandwiches are served over a bed of fries which are bomb in their own right and Tono offers cups of sauces for dipping.
Ordered the #2 south jersey with steak & American cheese as well as the #1 south Philly with steak & pepper jack. Both phenomenal! Loved them both with the honey ranch sauce. The staff was quick & polite. Only critique is the menu is very tiny in person and we used a take out menu to decide what to get.
Ordered pick up from Tono’s today. They made the pick up process easy and quick. The restaurant looks clean and everything is new. Their food was spectacular and full of flavor. They have huge portions and the prices are right.
