We brought out kid's to play here when it was really cold one day. The quality of the facility and the pricing compared to other facilities in the city is amazing. They have a great layout for both parents and kids. Unlike other play centers it was relatively easy for me to go in after my 2 year old to help him go down the slide. Also the quality of healthy snacks and prices were reasonable. Overall I would definitely come back, both the kids and ourselves enjoyed our time here.
It's a fun place and my 6 & 3 year old boys love running around here. The giant slide is fun. The toddler area has a great variety of toys. I'm docking it a star because the comfy seating is very worn small rips and holes in the "leather" and the lighted button-pressing game has many burned out lights. And no water fountain.
I love this place. I always feel so safe letting my kids 5 and 3 play here. There is only one door out, and all kids have to have matching bracelets. There are cameras covering the play area, and all the tunnels lead to one set of slides: I can literally sit in a comfy chair and see the kids almost all the time. Also, it's very clean. This place is a life saver in Calgary winters!
Fantastic play area for our LO 1yr, 10mo. Lots of space to run around and play in and nice that it's free for the parents some others aren't free and each parent pays a small fee. It's nice that there is a starter area for real little kids too. Only complaint from the whole time was the high price of beverages $4.XX for a smoothie; blended ice with a splash of smoothie mix juice. Other than that, a great experience & we will certainly be coming back!
For bigger kids it's good but way overpriced for a toddler. $10 for my 19 month old to play with toys with no batteries and pieces missing. Doesn't help that parents let there 7 and 8 year olds use that area..... are you not aware what a "baby" or "toddler" is? Overall though I do like how clean it is.
I love bring my children here. It's a great way to burn off some energy when it's -30 outside. Lots of safe activities for you kids to take part in. Great seating for adults as well if you are able to allow your child to play unattended.
Small facility, staff gave me a hard time for feeding my child a small amount of crackers. Drive seven min away to 'Hide and Seek'. Worth the drive for a better play place and overall experience. Staff isnt so uptight as well.
We had a great time with our kids ages 4 to 9. The jump ball and time game were particularly exciting for them. The snacks are really expensive. You pay once to get in and can stay as long as you want. But if you leave you can't come back in. It wasn't very busy when we went Thursday morning.
Hey. I can't complain about an indoor playground that has SO many play options, but I can still only give TWO stars for the following reasons: -My child's 3 year old friend exited the "secured" play area without the staff checking for, or matching, the ID bracelet to an adult. ?!?!? Extremely upset, a discussion was had with the floor supervisor who dismissed our concerns without an apology, and a weak promise to "talk to the staff member". Upon our small group's exit later, a point was made to see if the staff member's attention to detail had improved...my adult friend exited through the locked gate with her two children...without being stopped, questioned, or having her ID bracelet checked. -Entry cost is just under $15 per child in my kiddos' age groups -Then add expensive snacks as no outside food is allowed for allergy reasons. The snack menu is also rather limited. -Add an additional $10 per kiddo if the kids want to use the climbing wall -Add an additional cost for laser tag, I'm guessing $10 each as well? -It's always busy and parking is always full, especially with nearby construction going on. -As to be expected, it's a very loud environment. Those are the cons, the pros are: *Indoor. Playground. *Has coffee. Important. *It's clean. *Most staff are pleasant enough & hard-working. *Good views of the play areas, closed circuit TVs. *Comfortable seating, and plenty of it. We didn't use a party room, or have a party package, so I can't speak to those things. To get the best value for the cost, I plan ahead of time to go there for at least half a day...or as long as my kids can handle playing...or as long as my money holds up for snacks and drinks for ravenous hard-playing kids.
This is a nice medium-sized play facility. I have been to bigger and smaller and prefer this size for my two-year-old. The play areas are well designed and safe. Some drawbacks are the fact you cannot bring in your own food and drink. On a weekday, there is only one person working both the food till and the entrance till so the wait can be long for food. They also make you order away from where the food is served which can be a little inconvenient. Bring a lock for the lockers. You may not leave and come back during the same day. Make sure to wear socks.
