Tommy's Malt Shop

This is my first time writing a review for Google. But this just for the AMAZING service we received from Tommy's. For some reason, Google didn't update their new hours so a bunch of friends and I came in just a few minutes after 9 pm. Even though they were closed (Fall hours they close at 9pm, Summer is 10pm), they opened their doors for us and were willing to take our shake orders. They went ABOVE and BEYOND from what I expected. We got prompt service and the shakes/malts were amazing. I highly recommend the coffee and chocolate blend. Again, thank you so much! You guys are the best!

Awesome food and a fun atmosphere. Prices are a little steep but other than that, this place is pretty much perfect!

After reading the reviews I expected a much better experience all around. It was disappointing. The environment was dingy and loud. It's kind of like an echo chamber in there. The sound from the mixers was constant and intrusive and we could hear tables on the other side of the restaurant. The music was extremely tinny and loud. The food was ok but there's no way that burger was a half pound. The malt was nothing special and holy cow $4+ for a half size? The one thing that they have going for them is the service. Very good service and staff however, I don't think I'll be back. One thing I really want to address is the side entrance. What's with having a door with a big awning that opens right into the restaurant but locking it and having a little sign pointing to a smaller door further away? Every single person I saw come in that side tried the big door first.

Great place for malts and burgers! Feels like what I would expect from a "malt shop" - simple and tasty!!

To be fair, the fried mushrooms and my burger were good. The downside was the noise level. The twangy sound sytem competing with the boisterous little girl (super cute but really loud) who was trying to out noise the server drumming on the counter(the whole time - not sure was actually working) while his team mate was singing (Maybe?)... then the cherry on top of it all was the malt blender grinding continuously against the edges of the metal malt containers. Think of nails on a chalkboard - continuously. The servers we had were nice and asked us several times how the food was....
