Tom Sushi

We went there for Sunday lunch and We really impressed by this Sushi Place. Prices are fair, Quality and freshness was just perfect. Great services by staffs. It was my first time to be in this Place and would be on top of my sushi places list. I loved the crunchiness of Prawn Tempura, It was just awesome. They refill Green Tea frequently which is great.

I haven’t had bad sushi in Vancouver yet, but Tom Sushi is on another level!! My friend and I were so impressed with the food that we kept ordering more to try even though the portions are good and made us super full. Service was quick and staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely a new favourite spot!

We were on a weekend getaway trip in Vancouver and found this place for lunch. We have not had such the good quality sushi in a while. We enjoyed every piece of sushi. The ambience was nice, cozy and welcoming. The service was great. Agedashi Tofu was also good. We sure will come back again! Highly recommended.

A trendy sushi place downtown. It's busy during lunch rushes; you might want to call in advance if you're ordering takeout. There's a wide variety of sushi and other Japanese items on the menu, such as katsu. They even have graded quality cuts of tuna on the menu at varying price points. The items are quite unique and flavorful. The specialty rolls are quite exciting and presented beautifully. There's a good emphasis on the sauces, and the quality of the seafood is decent. I was told by my colleague that the katsu was quite decent as well. It comes as a full lunch menu set, with a one-time refillable rice and salad. Great service; fast, friendly, and efficient. Decently priced for what you get.

Restaurant is situated on a busy street with lots of other dining options. If you didn't know this place was here, you might miss the sign. Once inside, they have everything shielded off with plexiglass unlike here in the US. Price was very reasonable and has good quality fish. Great for a casual sushi spot.

Visited location June 3, 2022 It was busy Friday evening. They did not take telephone reservation or wait list. However they do take walk-in wait list. Location is right on Davie street. It was a little hard to find, actually ended up walking past the first time. Sushi was fresh and service was excellent. They seemed to do a lot of takeout or delivery. Their location is not very large and only holds 30-40 people. Sushi was decently priced and they also had combinations available as well. Had a lot to choose from for variety. They had a lot of mirrors making the restaurant appear larger then it was. Overall rating: 4/5 stars

Very stylish. Decided to eat at this local sushi spot and had a great experience with my 11 and 7 year old. Sushi was fresh, cucumbers were crunchy, aromas were spot on, miso was wonderful, service was team style so everything was timely and right.Recommended dishesSalad, Roll, Prawn Tempura

Good sushi place but keep your expectations low. This is on par with the sushi places for students or the younger crowd. What they offer is good and affordable but you get what you pay for. We’d suggest pay a bit more and find something more akin to traditional sushi with better presentation and higher quality sushi.

Amazing! After 4 years I am back to this place again. I used to come to this place 4 years ago pre pandemic but stopped after they changed management and was selling over price sushi's didn't bother coming back at all. However in the past days I passed by and looked at there menu and prices and at first I was confused but then I figured that they changed the name of the restaurant and not sure if it's the same owner but I believe it's a new management. Anyway the food is top notch as they put close attention on the details on making the food better unlike some ordinary japanese restaurants out there. All I can say is I have been dining out all over Vancouver for 15 years and I would say I'm really impressed by the quality, price and serviced they provide here.

Wanted to try a high quality sushi and read that this was getting very popular. Definitely one of the nicer sushi restaurant I tried in Vancouver. However sushi gets cold very fast but I believe that is because we sitting near the door and it’s winter. Cold air came in every time someone opened the door.
