A nice small local ice hockey rink. It has one pad and a small set of stands. It can get real cold but you can watch from the lobby.nnNice facility with ample parking.
This is a great space to host events. The building is clean and the arena itself is very cold. It's easily accessible to those who take public transport as it's right along the transitway.
Great venue for book and art fairs. Clean and spacious amenities. Needs an ATM tho
Public skate!nnIt's nice to get back on the ice. For under $5 you can get some exercise in in a climate controlled space with perfect ice. There are two change rooms you can use to lace up. I wish they had played some music though, to liven it up.
It's a small rink. The showers are small and you are going to make new friends. They didn't bother to put in anything to put your shampoo on, or hang your towels so guys hang their towels on the garbage cans . It could easily have more space in the rooms by adding a chair in the corner which could easily move out of the way in case of a fire because it'll be in front of the fire exit. However the doors are usually sealed shut so never mind the fire exit anyway. These ranks and some of the older ranks upkeep are perfect example of why the city maintaining ranks is systemic apathy and lack of attention for anything but just below the bare minimums, yet we pay upwards $300 an hour for the privilege of changing in these pigsties.
