Tired Dog Ranch

Tired Dog Ranch is a beautiful ranch on many acres near the Willamette River and forest-- we brought both our kids and dogs on a long weekend holiday. The boys enjoyed playing basketball and riding bikes around the ranch and the dogs had a wonderful time snooping on all of the animals around the ranch. We took many walks around the property with our dogs and they loved running off leash in the big pasture. The views are stunning in the evening :-0 The cottage was very clean, spacious for our family with a loft upstairs, and stocked with delicious eggs from Sally's free range chickens. Sally's a gregarious host and is incredibly friendly. Have no idea what the prior reviewer is talking about. This place is completely dog, family, and fun friendly!! Was a great respite for us. Our family will return hopefully in the fall to explore again!

Great getaway, amazing host My husband, 3 of our kids and I spent three nights in the Cottage. With our dogs! The space was the perfect size for us: cozy, without being cramped. Sally is an amazing host; she made us feel at home and cared for. The property is astounding: fields to run in, woods to explore, creeks to splash in. The ranch itself is a wonderful space, and we could have spent a week there without leaving and without getting bored. The surrounding area is also astounding, and we could have spent a month exploring trails, skiing and wandering. Thank you, Sally, for an amazing getaway!

We stayed here through the Fourth of July and absolutely loved it! Sally was very sweet and accommodating with our late arrival and having our dog! We rented the yurt and it was amazing! The bed was so comfy! She even had fresh eggs from her chickens in the fridge with a stick of butter! We’ll definitely return again!

Tired Dog Ranch is an amazingly beautiful and relaxing vacation retreat. I travel often and sometimes find it difficult to find a family friendly location that also offers privacy for the adults and IS DOG FRIENDLY!! Tired Dog offers it all!! My family and I shared a wonderful vaction in the spacious cottage. Myself, husband and 4 of our grandchildren had an amazing weekend. There are trails, basketball courts, the kids played games in the large open field. A year later my husband and I shared a romantic weekend in the celestial yurt. It was incredible.. simply said, they have something for everyone and every occasion. I can not wait to hold my dauggters 5 year wedding anniversary in this beautiful setting. My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was spacious and well furnished. The kids had plenty to do inside and out. Sally is an amazing hostess. We'll be back.

Flaky proprietor. Four months after making reservation and just a few weeks before we were to arrive Sally tried to get us to give up room we had reserved. We reserved Carriage/Hen house plus additional front room. She was happy to rent the attached front room for an extra 50 dollars per night. She then emailed a few weeks before arrival that it was too much work to make front room available to us and she wanted us to move to Yurt. However, that did not work for us because we needed separation of rooms, as had been explained to her when we made reservation. When we said we wanted to keep our original reservation the way it was, the tone of her emails became very snippy. She then demanded triple the deposit for our dogs, wanting 1050 dollars instead of 350 as was in contracted agreement, and stating if she so much as found a single dog hair she would withhold deposit. For these reasons we cancelled our reservation. Flaky with capital ‘F’.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful 3 days camping at Tired Dog Ranch. Peaceful, out of the way. Spent a few hours just chatting with Sally. Good time!

This was a nice a place to stay, you can tell COVID-19 hit this place hard. The wife and I wear sad to see that the horses needed a major hoof treatment, the sheep need to be shirred and they could use a shelter.

Loved staying at this cute little ranch! We stayed in a spacious, comfortable yurt. The yurt was well stocked, complete with fresh eggs waiting in the fridge.
