Great place in forested surroundings. Trailers are not spaced close together. Most spaces are separated by forest trees and vegetation. It is quite with occasional wild animals roaming near and through the park. Park management is on the ball.

If I could give it three and a half stars, I would. It's a nice, clean campground with good, paved spots in a pine/fir forest along the beautiful McKenzie River. It's a bit pricier than we normally like to find, but it is the heart of the summer travel season, so that could justify it. Fire pits can be had for an additional $10, but we normally see those included.

Grateful summer visit also went up in the winter and got to play in the snow
