For us, coffee is a passion. Located in the heart of historical Gastown, Timbertrain Coffee Roasters raises the bar in quality coffee. We offer only the finest beans by selecting and sourcing green beans, trusting no one to the roasting process but ourselves. We’re committed to the fundamentals and the science of brewing perfection into each cup we serve. Our slow bar encompasses our dedication to taste and flavour; we brew our freshly roasted coffee beans with a methodical, measured, and mastered technique. This slow and meticulous process is our labour of love and sets us apart from the rest. We invite you to share and experience our coffee with us and know that with each carefully crafted coffee blend, you’ll taste, feel, and see our passion.

Why Timbertrain?
What's in a name, you ask? For the founders of Timbertrain, Peter Kim, Jeff Shin and Min Shin, the answer is simple. Together they shared a childhood fondness and wonder for trains; how trains worked, how trains transported people from one place to another, and most importantly, how trains brought people together. Timbertrain is the realization of the founders' shared childhood dream of bringing people together and building community through their newfound passion of coffee—Timbertrain Coffee Roasters.
