Sonder

Fantastic apartment hotel based in a lovely residential area of Vancouver. A short walk to both Stanley park and downtown city life. Great amenities that you can restock yourself when needed, and they have a free umbrella rental, too. They stocked us up with ear plugs and toiletries which was a lovely touch.Rooms: 5/5

Having just had a miserable experience at a remote check-in hotel in Chicago, I was a bit apprehensive about Sonder. My stay here was fantastic! Checkin was easy, the building is great and in a good neighbourhood thats very walkable. The room was very very comfortable and spacious, and felt like home for 3 days. Staff, though not there often, were super friendly. Highly recommended for independent or low-maintenance travelers.

Loved this Sonder! Prime location in English Bay surrounded by great restaurants, steps away from a beautiful sunset view and easy to grab public transit to any destination. The Sonder was very clean with clear instructions everywhere for anything you may need. I did not need to contact the Sonder team for anything during my 5 night stay.

Upscale but small room and kitchenette with a comfortable bed and an A+ shower nice after biking Stanley Park!. Underwhelming patio especially considering we paid extra for it. Didn’t realize that Sonder was a hotel without any staff, but in the end, we actually loved how easy the check in process was and how simple it was to get extra things we needed. The location near Stanley park and english beach was perfect. Close to many bus lines and extraordinarily walkable location.

Felt like home! The location was just perfect. Really walkable neighborhood, easy access to transit. The no-interaction check-in and stay is all I ever wanted for my travels! So glad I came across Sonder. Rooms: Impeccably clean. Nearby activities: Beautiful walkable neighborhood with grocery shops. Noteworthy details: Looks like some unit balconies are obstructed do no views :
