Tim's Cafe

Words can't describe how amazing this place is. This is a cozy little diner that serves breakfast and lunch until 2 pm. There is only four tables there, so it's recommended to reserve a spot ahead of time. Payment is only debit or cash, no credit. Almost everything there is homemade. Their bread and baked goods are especially amazing. I'm still drueling over their raisin bread. They give large portions for a very affordable price. The staff are very friendly and make sure to remember you. It felt so good to be recognized the second time we came. You can see that they are passionate about their business as they tell their story and explain how they make things. I am torn leaving such a good review because I want to keep this hidden gem for myself, but these gentlemen deserve 6 stars.

Amazing!! This is a small place. It's no nonsense breakfast and lunch. Make reservations. I have never been in a place where the value of the food and service is as exceptional as here. The breakfasts are all good, but the highlight is the place, the staff and regulars. Do not miss buying home made treats on the way out. Best breakfast plate in the city.

Lovely people, lovely food. It definitely pulls in a senior type of crowd which is fine, but definitely great value for what you get! Highly recommend if you are looking for affordable breakfast. Make a reso before you show up as the tables are often reserved for regulars.Food: 5/5

The food here is homemade and wonderful! Everything we had was fresh, hot and delicious! They accommodated our large walk in group and made us feel welcome. We left full and happy and can’t wait to come back! Very warm, friendly and inviting people and the price is phenomenal.

First time here, food was delicious! Would prefer a bigger portion, or maybe I was just too hungry . Guy in the front was nice and helped me on how to order. They have a lot of homemade items! Would like to come back again.

A great value and an awesome down-home feeling. The staff are wonderful and attentive, our food was served promptly and the portion sizes were perfect at a price point that is a downright bargain. Seating is limited so consider making a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in without even hesitating.

Hubby and I went here this morning after hearing virgin radio raving about the food and they were right! The food was the best we've had in a long long time with everything being homemade right down to the bread and buns! If your going with a big group make a reso but just the 2 of us there was no wait time and the food was faster than ever! The prices are unbelievable as well. We are faithful Denny goers but this place will now be our go to! Thank you guys for the awesome meal!

Had breakfast here. Got the steak sandwich with fries and coleslaw. One thing about most places and their coleslaw: eiher too creamy or not enough. This place found that sweet spot. The steak was seasoned perfectly, and cooked how I like it. The fries were also really well-seasoned. For dessert, two banana muffins. The banana muffins tasted really good. Nice and fluffy, with a light taste. Definitely coming back. Only downside is location, where parking might be iffy.

This is the best cafe in town. My wife and I went to Tim's twice during our 3-day trip to Calgary. We had the most delicious homemade food at this place and the staff is out of this world. Tim and Don will definately make you feel at home. These guys are awesome. If you wanna have great food made by great people you cannot miss this place. Next time I'm in town I will be back to have some more delicious bennies like these on the photo I snapped just before they were gone. My flight back home will be much better with the to-go sandwiches they kindly prepared for us.

This is one of those places you want everyone to know about but also want to keep secret because it's so amazing! The staff Tim/Don/Jody are so kind. Makes you want to spend every morning there. My new regular visit to brighten up my week! The food is top notch but the people are really what makes this place worth going to.
