Temp Foreign Workers from 2&3rd worlds minimal training or understanding of fast food cultural. Staff intentionally not adding espresso shots but will add the charge to the order. Indian male on drive through cut me off mid order say “oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah aaaand espresso I know the order” he then added his own guess on cream & sugar. For several weeks each order required a return to the store and a full debate with staff to prove no espresso was added. One staff Filipino staff lady came to my aid saying “Yes, this is way too creamy there is no espresso”. The Indian girl that regularly fOrGoT the espresso lashed out at me when that was pointed out and continued for several days following. After a few weeks we swapped to the cornerstone Tim’s location. Not a single issue ever happening and the staff selected to work the counter had a full understand of fast food culture and they do not miss a beat even confirming orders with the staff behind them. This afternoon an Indian male at the walkin counter pushed for my coffee order to have an additional cream added when declined he reacted with a snarl alook and cold attitude. That behaviour is unwarranted and order suggestion are made when asked or out of a product. This male just randomly pushed for an elderly man to change the order without reason and then visibly reacted when that elderly man had to give the Tim’s Horton a reason when he wanted only 3creams in and not the 4creams the aggressive Indian male was arguing for him to have.nnThe staff practice a struggle mindset and it’s like they can no comprehend that customers pay for convenience & accuracy delivered without pushback or explaining how the back part of that location works. That’s why we load hundreds a year onto the app and pay dollars for a 20cent cup of coffee. This location operates like a badly managed independent shop that thinks it has the market cornered. Would love to see a “for lease” sign in the window this winter.nnStay blessed ‍↔nn**notes** management or owners of this location need to be coached by the other city locations because they are tarnishing the Tim’s name and do not align with the brand values. This location usually has rednecks and Filipinos in it and no wifi. It will do in a pinch but you will NEED to check you receipt, your change, your orderopen the containers or unwrap the wrapper to check that EVERYTHING you ordered it there. Then sample your drink THEN drive on or leave the counter, NOT BEFORE! Hold it up and tell them it’s the history of cutting corners and missing or changed orders that has forced you to do this and the staff arguing with customers when returning for a correction. I have reached out to corporate about it is likely the owner of this location that has a 3rd world mindset and didn’t give a Phuk about customer experience and doesn’t want to pay decent wage to replay that trash team of employees encourage this behaviour. Small town or not there is a bar that needs to be met when you’re servicing the public. Clean house
Tim Hortons is a hit with my nephew! He loves their tasty Timbits, and I love the convenient and friendly service. A quick and satisfying treat for kids and adults
The teenage girls working here are the reason I hesitate on coming to the Tim Hortons on 50th street. I’ve had a couple experiences that were disrespectful but today watching them do it to my friend I’m deciding to say something. There was no other customers in the drive through lane. When we pulled up to the window my friend asked to add wedges with her wrap. They did the transaction she said it declined but while she is putting money into her chequing account the girls in the back are humming loud the jeopardy theme song. I wasn’t too bothered by that but once they finished the transaction they said she shouldn’t have ordered the wedges. I just find that a little rude and not the correct way to make customers want to come back.
Went to have a sausage farmers wrap with no egg this morning. For some reason the employee was taking off the egg and cheese and the charging me for two slices cheese for an extra $1.40. It was then more money than the regular farmers wrap. It’s ridiculous. Not going to this location again. Incompetent!
So i order steeped tea and wrap gave them 11.40 even and girl there counted it as 10.25. She said its not the full amount its either 10.35 or 10.85. So i told her to give my money back and she gave me 10.15. I know anyone can mistake but way of talking is what matters the most.nWorst experience of customer service ever.nIf she don’t know how to count em then count first on the side.
