Open Mic every Tuesday showcases some of Lloydminster's best talent! We are an ALL AGES VENUE constantly booking performers from all over North America and other parts of the world providing you with fantastic live music all year around!!
We also host an Art Market where you can find hand made everything; from hand spun wool, pottery, jewelry and large canvas masterpieces on display all throughout our venue.

We are here to support art and culture! We host fundraisers for the community and school band performances. We offer Jazz nights monthly and will occasionally host an evening of Indian Cuisine with belly dance performers.
The Root is also proud to host the annual Street Dance in June and a Harvest Moon Lantern Walk every Thanksgiving Weekend. Come downtown to see us, we'd love to serve you!!
