I walked into Tim Hortons during my lunch hours as a student, and I was treated disrespectfully because I was a student. I understand there is a “Only 3 students inside rule” but we are people just like adults that need to eat too.nnI waited in line like everyone else, and once I made it to the front the lady at the counter let a woman cut in front of me, stating in an obvious rude tone “You’re next.” The woman who cut in front asked about me and my friends, and the worker just brushed us off like we didn’t exist, saying “Don’t worry about it.” Probably because everyone’s “disrespecting the student rule.” This rule feels like complete discrimination towards students as even though a select few can be bad; we aren’t all these evil people we are made out to be.nnOnce I made it to the front, the lady seemed angry that I was even there, it felt passive aggressive when I just wanted simple coffee. I asked for two iced cappuccinos, one being Oreo and one being without Oreo, I paid for my order without noticing she only input the Oreo one. I didn’t check the screen because I trusted that the worker would get my order - I was wrong.nnI get my Oreo iced cappuccino, and not the other one. Not even a minute later I got asked if there’s something wrong with my order which seemed weird to me. I said I ordered two, she said that I paid for one. I understood that I paid for one but I clearly ordered two; and I don’t think she would’ve let me back in line to pay, but she let other adults cut in front of students.nnI left after that, I just ask that we students be treated like people too. I try to be nice whenever I come because I understand working is stressful, but if some are disruptive and noisy it doesn’t mean all of us are like that, we just want our food.nnNot only that, the 3 student rule doesn’t help us students, not only do we have to wait for all the adults to order in front of us, this doesn’t account for the weather outside which is almost always windy and freezing. Stop discriminating as much and understand that we are people too.
I've given up on this Tim's. I went on March 27 2026 at 4:30 p.m. I ordered their chicken bacon wrap - they had no wraps. He offered nothing else. His voice thru the speaker at the drive-through conveyed annoyance and boredom. He couldn't have cared less. I then asked for a regular chili. They had no chili. It was cold out - a high of minus 5. I ended up ordering a bagel with cheese, bacon and mayo. It was very poorly made. At least the coffee was hot.nThe time before I went there I ordered the chicken bacon wrap and they had no chicken. They offered no substitute. I asked if they had turkey which they did. It would have been good customer service for them to offer the turkey as a substitute - I should have not needed to ask. After going home to eat this wrap, I discovered they had put one blob of mayo at one end and nothing spread over the wrap. The lettuce was beyond edible and I removed and discarded it. Horrible.nSo bottom line I'm not going to this Tim's anymore. Too bad it's nice and close to my home.
Very slow service here. Drive through customers are considered way more important than walk-in customers. Very typical of this chain, It’s their standard service now.
This place always takes life, never has common breakfast items around breakfast, and today they didn't cut my fiance's bagel. Don't worry guys. I'm sure Dunkin' donuts will cut your bagel for you
Student rush lunch hour and this location decides that only one cashier is allowed to work. We waited in line for 10 mins and left cuz they only served one customer. Line was to the door. You can’t even sit to wait since every table was taken up by students eating lunch they brought from home, even though this location has a sign saying only 3 students at a time. Ya right there was at least 20 in there at the tables and 4 in line
