I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience at this drive-thru location. A few days ago, I ordered a coffee with two creams. Upon taking my first sip, I felt a bizarre, crawling sensation. When I opened the lid to check, I was horrified to find a long hair stuck to it.nnWhen I returned to the location to address this issue, I was met with rudeness and unapologetic behavior from the staff. This incident not only spoiled my coffee experience but also tarnished the reputation of Tim Hortons, a brand that I have always associated with Canadian values of hospitality and hygiene.nnIt is disheartening to see the standards of such a beloved Canadian institution decline due to employees who lack proper training and understanding of the brand's core values. Many of these workers, who appear to be international students, seem to lack the commitment to uphold the standards that Tim Hortons is known for. While I understand the importance of providing employment opportunities, it is crucial that all employees, regardless of their background, receive comprehensive training in Canadian standards, values and hospitality.nnThis particular location used to be our favorite coffee stop, a place where we could count on a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, it has been ruined by the reckless behavior of the current staff. I urge you to consider the long-term reputation of this amazing Canadian brand over short-term cost savings. Ensuring that your employees are well-trained and aligned with the company's values is essential for maintaining customer trust and loyalty.
Another location, another experience with 5:30am segregation between vehicle owners and non-vehicle owners. Disappointing even if there is some petty logic.. Segregation is not the Canadian way.
Service in drive through was extremely slow. When I got my bagel with cheese at the window and it tasted like it has been sitting in the toaster all day long and it felt like a rock when bitten out of!!! And no one answered the phone it we callled 4 TIMES!!!
I am writing to show a very concerning and un-pleasant experience at this TIM Hortons Branch, which shows that it is a very very Stressful atmosphere. I ordered a coffee with some donuts and 4 hashbrowns. The employee Appeared to be an international student charged the order. I think she charged us but the hash browns were out stock. All of a sudden, I heard another lady near the oven, where they bake the donuts and hash browns yelling at this employee for selling an item out of stock . Then her supervisor came to her and also did the similar but not that extreme and I could see that this employee was super duper stressed. I told her no problem if hash browns are out of stock than it is fine, I will add some extra donuts , it is not end of of the world.nBut the over all scene , yelling and Stress happening on that side of the counter on service employee publicly in front of customers is not appropriate. And if this much is a norm in front of the customers than I can imagine that how much work stress /yelling environment would it be behind internally. I have never seen some thing like this in past in any other tim hortanz or any other stores which is not good for tim hortanz brand and not a good impression on customers as well.
If I had an option to put zero stars I would. They don’t even deserve the one star! This place has a history of very bad service and incompetent supervision. I don’t know how hard it is to provide decent customer service. My last experience to this location was the worst. I attended Tú’s drive through and ordered a coffee with almond milk. I had enough points on my app to redeem the coffee and I scan the app on my phone. The coffee did not redeem, the person at the window did not know how to redeem it as I have use this a million times before. Another male came to the window and tried to redeem it and said I could not redeem this reward even if I had enough points. I expressed my frustration and asked to speak to the manager. This guy told me he was the supervisor. I asked his name and he mumbled something I didn’t even understand! I asked him to speak to the manager and he said “no” ; I’mnLike what do you mean no? I said ; What is the managers name ? He said I’m not giving you the managers name. I’mnLike excuse me !? You refuse to tell me who the store manger is ?? Since when is Tim Hortons policy not to disclose a mangers name !? I called head office and made a complain and they confirmed that is it not policy and this is not good service. I don’t understand how these locations promote supervisors who are so incompetent and complete lack of customer service!
