Tidal Bore Inn

We stayed at the Tidal Bore in September. The room was indeed clean, but we had to put something on our hands to open the outside screen door as it was sticky with something, then step over the entranceway as we were not sure the last time it had been mopped or cleaned. The office was pretty scary when we were checking in and the staff did not look in the least professional. We were also very glad the cafe was closed.. That is a pretty site. At 10:30 the owner and her 2 dogs she got from Mexico came by, (pets are not allowed by the way), she had them on very long leashes and let them jump all over us.. she didn't want to discipline them as they had been mistreated.. Really , children and pets need guidlines and she was not doing them any favors.. There was 6 of us sitting across the road having a few drinks and enjoying the nice evening.. We are all in our 60's so not to much romping around going on... every room where we were have an air conditioner in the window that stops all sounds from entering the room... she repeated at least 6 times that 11 was quiet time and we would "have to go inside" We , each time said, yes we would do that... I can't remember the last time someone told us to go to bed.. we were not the least unruly or loud. To recommend this place.. not a chance.. not so much as a cup of coffee on the premise and nothing real close. We stayed in 7 different places on this trip and highly recommend 6 of them, and watch folks, he will come back with something rude.. Before you ever book this place, check out everything else in the neighborhood... and no you cannot see the Tidal Bore from here, you have to drive. Prices for the tidal bore inn were reasonable. Cleanliness was average. Definitely close to the tidal bore if you wanted to watch it from your balcony on the second floor

The view of the tidal bore is great. Clean, friendly owners and quiet. Good rates.

The Tidal Bore Inn was a cozy, pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a quick one night stay. Free cable and Wi-Fi was a plus I did not expect for the very affordable room.

Beautiful view outback of the tidal bore. The staff is lovely and is always making sure you're stay at the establishment is perfect. Dog friendly is a plus!
