Honestly the best place to do your groceries on the western side of north van, it's never too busy so you don't have to worry about others moving you along while looking at products. Everything is always super fresh and stocked well and they have fantastic deals every week. Every single staff member is always cheerful and happy to help in anyway possible. Also it's very clean. I almost didn't want to right this review because I'd rather keep it hidden from the crowds but they definitely deserve a pat on the back for their service they provide the community.
Regular thriftys, nothing new there. What makes it 5 stars is they have a discount bin at the front. 50% off items that I mostly don't need but could justify at a discount. More stores should be doing this to keep items out of the landfill, good on you Store Manager.
I love shopping at Thrifties and the check out stations are compact so you have a more intimate check out. As I don't go often I find items not found at other markets, especially the ready made foods section is expansive so I seem to not leave without 4 bags plus it was after the new years so they had much on discount. The staff always friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer but males it a bit more exciting I go every now and then every trip is a success.
There is a sushi counter inside this Thifty Foods, with a new operator, a sweet woman named JJ. Her sushi is delicious and fresh! If you’re looking for a quick and tasty meal or snack, I highly recommend you get some rolls made by JJ! The California roll is tasty and is hard to believe it’s from a grocery store!! This is probably the best kept secret of this shopping plaza!!
Love this store! Always have a great selection of groceries, great prices, and love that you can collect Scene points. The employees are really special. Will always shop here before any other chain.
