Excellent staff.nCustomer service was great when I left a cooler bag.nThey separate the freezer items from perishable items until I returned. Everything was well marked also.nThank you!
Good store with good products but the employees are evil lmao. Consistently bad experiences with them even though I’m just trying to shop peacefully.
Today, my parents experienced blatant racial discrimination at Thrifty Foods. My father simply wanted to look at a newspaper, but an elderly white female staff member immediately approached him and said, “This is not free,” as if assuming he was trying to take something without paying. My mother then tried to look at a flyer, and the same staff member rudely told her, “You can’t take that.”nnMy parents do not speak fluent English, but that does not mean they should be treated this way. Would a local white customer have been stopped like this? Would they have been questioned in the same way? This kind of behavior is clearly biased and discriminatory, and it is absolutely unacceptable.nnAs a business serving the public, does Thrifty Foods allow employees to treat customers with racial prejudice? Does the company provide any training to ensure all customers receive equal and respectful service? I demand an explanation from management and expect immediate action to prevent this from happening again.nnThrifty Foods owes my parents an apology for this blatant discrimination
I love this store! Clean. Well stocked. I always find more then I’m looking for in here.nGreat fish, bakery and deli!
A HUGE shout out to Peter who was staff at the self checkout last night. He saw me look puzzelled and came immediatley without me asking. He assisted in a most pleasent and professional manner and it was greatly apprciated. I walked away with a smile realizing there are good people in this world. Peter was not just doing a great job, Peter is an exceptional Human Being. Peter, thank you for being you!
