Great spot but brunch service was underwhelming. Three Monks Banana Split was the best dish lived up to the hype. Loved their drink “Hibiscus Kiss”. Friend loved her white slushie. Their regular menu looked more appealing so I would come back for that during their evening service.
I think the place was pretty decent, not great not bad. I didn't think the Cat Collins was good just imbalanced flavors. The Send Noods was pretty good I got chicken added to it which was good. The fried egg and tofu with the dish was mediocre. I think the place has potential but I found it to be just alright. The decor and setup was pretty nice with the patio in the back.
My friend and I decided to try this place on a Friday night and made a reservation for 7pm. Really love the vibe of the restaurant, it’s small and probably seats around 15-18 people comfortably. The only issue I had was that the seats were extremely uncomfortable. So for the food, we got the Edamame, Lumpia Filipino Spring Rolls, Pork Inihaw Filipino BBQ and Mama’s Roasted Chicken Rice. My friend and I initially wanted to try Crispy Lechon Rice, but apparently they had sold the last one to table who had ordered before us. Everything tasted pretty good, the rice and spring rolls were a bit oily for my liking, but overall flavourful. For the drinks, my friend got the California asked for it to be in the cat mug and I got the A Rainy Day in New York. Drinks were okay, I definitely preferred my friends drink over mine. Service here was alright, it was only one server making drinks and taking orders. I had a good time with my friend, but I think this would be a one time experience for me.
Went for a weekend brunch and tried a few things off their menu. The food was tasty but average, except for the Three Monks Banana Split. It was delicious and different! Also has a super cute and cozy patio which was great for summer weather!
A hidden patio that does not disappoint. Cute decor and good food. But to pick one thing on the menu that stood out was the Hangover cure. Best flat noodles. Musttttt try for anyone that loves a little spice
So first off the bartender there was so sweet and lovely! Very helpful. Drinks were nice, favourites were hibiscus kiss and malibu barbie. Favourites for food were the tuna tartar and the pineapple in a pineapple bun. Really nice balanced flavours. Was really excited for the kimchi fries and the lumpia but was a little disappointed. Kimchi fries were a little sweet for my liking, would’ve liked more kimchi and cheese! and the lumpia were delicious but not what i was expecting. was expecting more pork than shrimp. that being said they are very juicy and flavourful! the interior is also really cute and once it gets warmer can’t wait to sit on their patio! will be back for sure
What a gem! Fantastic chicken rice and absolutely loved it. Will definitely go back. Cocktails were simply OK but super nice ambiance.
My boyfriend and I tried a couple of small dishes: Crispy calamari, Lumpia Filipino Spring Rolls, K-Town Supreme Fries. Taste-wise as a Filipina I've definitely had better lumpia elsewhere and my Greek boyfriend was not impressed with the calamari. The K-Town Supreme fries had great flavour and textures though. The standout was probably the "Hibiscus Kiss" cocktail-- balanced and refreshing! I would go back, probably just for drinks.
We ordered the Three Monks Banana Split, Eggs Benedict & Hakka Noodles for brunch with a side of Chili Home Fries. I loved the banana split which was topped with ube ice cream and perfectly cooked boba. The eggs benedict was average and bland, it also doesn’t come with protein. My friend did not enjoy the overcooked hakka noodles. The sauce tasted like garlic and nothing else. It was overwhelmingly creamy. The drinks were reaaaalllyyyy good though, makes up for the mediocre food. I think it’s a cute spot to go for brunch but their dinner menu looks more appetizing.
A very cute restaurant with nice interior and friendly staff. We came for dinner and ordered the lumpia, pineapple baos, dumplings, and fries. The food is mediocre however very overpriced for what is it and so are the drinks. Paid $9 for a draft beer that came out in a half pint sized glass.
