As a patient, I received emails from clinicians who sounds like my surgeon berating me as I attempted to identify blatant flaws in my healthcare. These anonymous emails contained diagnostic images that I did not have on my computer indicating to me that there was a breach of privacy and that someone inappropriately access my medical records to send me An email justifying unnecessary spinal surgery. Alberta Health Services is supposed to have mechanisms in place to monitor rogue employees inappropriately accessing patients medical records. I commend Thomas Dang for his actions because Alberta Health Services has been irresponsible and they seem to think that radiologists amending their second opinion diagnostic review four months later verbally is appropriate; that the same radiologist who works for EFW radiology should review his own diagnostic image as a public employee with foothills hospital this is not a second opinion is it? ; and that another radiologist performing a second opinion diagnostic review would state she was not in receipt of various surgical and medical reports applicable to her second opinion diagnostic review. I suspected nobody wanted to admit that a patient inappropriately paid $18,000 for unnecessary surgery and all clinicians wanted her symptoms to be a result of failed back surgery syndrome when in fact the patient is living with a die see you see hazy well-defined mass pressing on her large bowels. This doesn’t sound like the sacral insufficiency fractures she was diagnosed with in February 2020 and that simply do not exist. We need to ensure that Alberta Health Services is responsible and that there are mechanisms in place to monitor rogue employees inappropriately accessing patients medical records; employees that bully patients who know they’ve received inadequate care delivered without integrity.
Why should we vote for you when you can’t even manage to have someone available to answer the phone in your office.
Campaign people came around soliciting for Thomas dang! They were selling memberships for $10 each! I bought one on behalf of my daughter who is NDP!!! That membership was never received and I never received a receipt despite being told it would come by email!! Thomas dang running for edmonton west. Scam!!!’
Dude is useless. I'm 40, I lived in many places. People in his position represent the locals. I tried to contact his office regarding an issue that was a community matter. No response. I have contacted other members on various issues for example, a parking ticket. I would here back from an employee from the office of that constituant.
Thomas Dang is a disgrace to his alma mater given his conduct while in public office.
Time for an MLA that actually respects the laws of this country and does not hack into government infrastructure.
Emailed him years ago, no reply.
He need to resign
