Amazing place super cute and loved the decor!! The strawberry pancakes were outstanding and must try!! I may pass on the avocado toast… we only got that as it was the veggie option, but just do coffee and pancakes that’s what they do best!!! The service and staff were also friendly. I will definitely be back to try other things and do pancakes again!!
We have been meaning to go to Thirty-Six Cafe for a while now, and finally made it in this weekend for a very special brunch date. The staff were super friendly and welcoming when we arrived, quickly adding us to the list and ushering us to a seat where we could wait and review the menu. We had such a hard time deciding! There are so many delicious choices, savory, sweet, food, drinks... The options are overwhelming but in a good way. We finally settled on a few dishes, The Classic, Benedict Souffle, and the Matcha Dessert Toast. Each one was unique and delicious, a work of art and a scrumptious delicacy all at the same time. The atmosphere is fun and very trendy, with all sorts of photo-friendly spaces and a cute decor that makes the meal all that more magical. Definitely a great place for a little date or fun meal/snack.
The prettiest cafe I’ve been to in the Twin Cities! The rose latte was super unique and tasted like perfume in a good way. The pancakes were fun to try once. The ube was the perfect amount of sweetness and the bananas foster was very sweet for one person. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We only had to wait a few minutes for a table on a Sunday at brunch time. Would recommend to go for the aesthetics!
A cute small brunch spot in St. Paul! Very tasty food I ordered the Soufflé Benedict and it was just the right amount of food. The mango dreamsicle was very refreshing and sweet which complimented my meal. We also had a Strawberry Shortcake which was also delicious, it can be overly sweet after a while but it was still very good. The Butterfly Pea Lemonade was a first for me! Had a bit of an after taste but once it was fully mixed I’d say it also complimented the sweetness of the Strawberry Shortcake.
Without a doubt the cutest cafe in Minnesota! The flower decor and vintage aesthetic are a part of what makes this cafe really special! The food and drinks taste as wonderful as they look! I had the Strawberry Soufflé pancakes, which are incredibly sweet and fluffy. I also had their rose gold latte which was both very pretty and tasted great! I’ve only been twice so far, but both times it’s been a great experience!
A hidden gem here in the twin cities. This Cafe is small, cute, and totally intagramable. Their fluffy pancakes are as delicious as they are beautiful. Their drinks are gorgeous and tasty. Stop by with a friend and treat yoself. Be sure to dress up and get some fun photos!Dine in: YesDelivery: No
It's soooo pretty here. I really love the effort put into the decoration here, and how clean everything is. Music matched the vibe well too. The food was just as pretty, but I felt it was a bit lacking in some parts. I had the strawberry shortcake souffle pancakes, and it was good, but I feel like with some tweaking, it could be amazing. I loved to sweetness level in it, and the fact that it comes with ice cream is such a cute twist to a classic brunch. The overall flavor of the pancakes were good, but it was a little eggy to me and the texture seemed like they were a bit overcooked or over-developed. The strawberries were sweet and I loved the shortcake crumbles, but overall, it the flavor was homogenous and nothing really stood out. I think maybe adding some tart strawberry jam or some lemon zest to the whipped topping or batter could brighten the dish and add some flavor differences. I only had a single bite of the eggs Benedict pancakes, but I would say I had the same reaction. It was good, but it could be better. The drinks were delicious! I had the Mango drink and it was super creamy but not overly sweet and rich. There were a few powdery notes in there, but I'm assuming it comes from the mango puree. I would buy this drink again for sure. Latte was yummy too, and the big mugs they come in are adorable. This is a small place, so I would recommended coming in bright and early in the morning. They don't seem to take reservations. Final thoughts about this place: refreshing, beautiful café that captures a vibe most cafés don't have. Staff was very friendly and service was great! It's very easy to see that the employees here care deeply about their job and put in a lot of effort to give customers a good experience. Although this place didn't wow me, I enjoyed my time here. My exact rating for this place is about a 3.9/5. With some tweaking to the food, I think this place would be even better.
I had THE BEST experience here. The people were really friendly and the food was great. And the coffee taste like coffee meaning it doesn’t taste water down. This will most likely going to be me and my cousins hangout from now on
Super adorable café with delicious pancakes and drinks! We went around lunchtime so it was a little busy. The café itself is small and cozy and the decor is so cute and feminine. Great for taking photos, too! The cashier was very friendly and also recommended the avocado toast, which I wil definitely try the next time I'm in town. Parking: Street parking in front of the café was relatively easy to get around noon.
If you love sweets & more this is the prime spot in the twin cities. Nice little cafe on Grand Ave. OMG! We had to try everything because it was so good! The owner was so friendly and made great recommendations. No need to pack anything just enjoy it all while you’re there at 3.6! Don’t forget to take your photo in the photo booth also!!
