Thirsty Owl Saratoga

Great staff, friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the wine list. Our dinner was perfect from appetizers to dessert. You won't be disappointed at this hidden Gem. If you're around the area of Saratogo Springs it's a Must stop.

We had dinner in the Bistro and found it to be over-priced. The Caesar Salad was $12 but the dressing on the salad tasted store bought and the croutons were plain, nothing special at all. The crab and lobster roll was tasty but tiny, a mini-roll filled with a quarter cup of salad at best. The french fries that accompanied it were nicely seasoned and satisfactory. Quite frankly though, we could have had the lobster roll dinner at Ninety-Nine for closer to half the price and been just as happy with it. With three glasses of reasonably priced wine between us and no coffee or dessert , my husband and I paid $90.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Delicious wines and nice atmosphere. I'm not much of a wine drinker but I found some wines I really enjoyed!

This place is a dog. We waited 90 minutes to get our dinners; they didn't come out together; one sat under a heat lamp so long it was crusty and for $30, the dinners were quite small. The place wasn't busy either. Then one in our party's ordered dessert; after 20 minutes I politely complained but it still took ten minutes to plate a brownie and a scoop of ice cream. The staff didn't seem to care that much. Don't do it for dinner. The wine may be great, but the food is not. My guess is that you'll wait and wait and then regret it.

Wow! Why did it take me so long to explore this place. $5 wine tasting which they offered for $2 because I went there an hour before closing. And they had free tasting in the patio area. Not sure if it was this was only because it was track season but our group had a great time. I'm not a wine connoisseur so I will skip critiquing the wines 😊
