Not one to write reviews but this place deserves to be exposed. Exposed for their incredibly charming staff, inexpensive but amazing eats, and don’t even get me started on how authentically real the decor feels. I am from Toronto, where great food is my daily ritual. So I hope my review holds some weight. With such amazing energy you guys give off, certainly resonates with your customers, which is why everyone comes back. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know coming to Kingston. Thank you for the amazing food and personal experience. 10/10
Hands down the heartiest meal in the city of Kingston! The aroma of freshly cooked food, light soothing music and wooden decor transport you to another world as soon as you step in. The staff is very accommodating, tons of vegan and vegetarian options. I wish they gave chips and pickes with the spinwich. They have a bakery on the side which is worth a visit. I will come back with more friends here!
The Yellow Deli is one of the best places to eat in Kingston. Staff are consistently friendly, engaging & attentive, without exception. Food is excellent; chili & Spinwich are among the best menu items. Whatever their spiritual path is, forget about. No attempt to preach or convert. They are good people.
This place was such an amazing find. Great decor, great people and the food is…. On a different level. Next time I am in Kingston I will have to come back here. It’s hard to get food even close to this quality. I just wish I had a place like this near me in Mississauga. Home grown Ingredients, and the flavours are epic. If you come here, I’ll bet you wish you’d have found this place sooner.
The yellow deli is amazing! My family and I were having a rough time and decided to stop here for some lunch. The food was great and the atmosphere and staff is warm and inviting. Very unique decor. This place turned out day around! They even went out of their way to get me a freshly made ginger cookie from the bakery next door when they ran out! Unbelievable above and beyond service.
Our absolute Favourite restaurant in Kingston.... Come to think of it.. Its our absolute Favourite restaurant anywhere. We dont get to Kingston nearly as often as we would like to, but when we do, we always eat here. Fresh homemade food, made with care. Staffed by wonderful people. Cant wait to visit soon.
I stopped in at the yellow deli and was blown away by the quality and the exceptional service. The bread is heavenly fresh and the soaps are truly magical. So glad to have found this little gem in the heart of Kingston. I highly recommend that you stop in for a fresh tea if you are in the area!
The place was quaint, peaceful, relaxing and made tou feel like you were at home. Prices were decent. The portions were amazing The dishes alone were worth going back and planning on it Hour hostess was so friendly, polite and down to earth. Shes the face of the business The seats were comfortable and looking forward to going back, and I am out of town Vegetarian options: They had a veggie burger people rave about Parking: Free parking at the Common Sense bakery which is a nice touch
It is an amazing place with great service. Servers are calm and accommodative. Excellent place for vegetarian or vegan meals as well as other brunch favourites. They beautifully sang "Happy birthday" for my friend on request.
Very good experience. We went at the restaurant for Thanksgiving and had the chance to eat a spécial menu for the occasion. The food was delicious and it's hand made. It costs us 60$ for 2 people for a menu with entrance,main course, dessert and a cofee. Plus there was a live music band! I highly recommend this place very nice decoration and nice staff.
